Odd coincidence that what they 'need' for each game happens to be exactly 2 years every single time? You'd think games very in what time they need but not for infinity ward.

He isn't telling the truth. If he is telling the truth then he's a bad developer. What developer chooses to release early - causing bugs and a smaller payment? These devs get paid by the hour - NO dev is fully in control unless they are the publisher too. But IW have absolutely no control by the looks of things.
And the 2 heads got fired. Everyone after that (almost 50 people) left because the treatment was unfair and the head devs were brilliant.

The combat looked amazingly different than oblivion.
The only reason it could possibly be seen as 'boring' is because they didn't do anything on the game - they weren't questing and they weren't levelling up - just roaming and showing off the map (and a bit of combat).

I don't blame EA to be honest! Who knows what trouble he could've caused. Letting him play it wasn't ever going to have any sort of advantage - he wasn't going to tell the press how good of an experience he had. It would either be nothing said at all or something negative so why bother?

I don't believe it unless a new console is scheduled to release before Windows 8 so then it is just playing games of an old console. But I don't believe that will happen, so I don't think Windows 8 will play Xbox 360 games.
Imagine, microsoft would get so little money. Gamers are more likely to pirate windows 8 then sell their xboxes and so play their xbox games on PC with microsoft getting nothing but the commission from the software sales.
