God of War 3 isn't amazing-looking considering it's premise (extremely linear, not much moving about). It's good, maybe even great but not amazing... Some other games though have a bigger play area and better graphics - much more impressive.

I fully agree with you on this, just what I thought when I saw the headline. And yeah i play minecraft, and I don't like CoD so this isn't a fanboy thing...

Uhhh. The shield stopped you from being able to die for the first 3-seconds or so after respawning, so snipers couldn't just aim at your spawn point and headshot you straight away (it wouldn't do any adamage). They have changed it so now it WILL do damage. So yes it does make a difference.
Hopefully they'll set up spawn points well that spawn-killing won't happen anyway (in BF games it hardly happens). :)
To be honest 720p is probably above the average game's resolution on both X360 and PS3. We get a fair few 680, 600, 480p, 540p games.

In reply to your second paragraph: That's fair enough if you can't get into it - but you weren't complaining about the graphics. What people are saying is if you care about graphics so much then get a PC or shut up...
If you're happy with what it is (any sensible person would see the graphics are great) then by all means keep playing PS3/X360.
I did say physics capabilities - doesn't have to be destruction but any physics that is on par (interactive real time etc).
It's from that gameplay trailer, loads of people are saying it looks really 'bad' because it's not as good looking as the PC version, tbh it still looks brilliant.
And yeah destruction 2.0 is the name of their destruction engine (Destruction was BF:BC and Destruction 1.5 was BF:BC2 I believe).

This is nothing to do with PS3, The Witcher 2 is only coming out on Xbox (and is already out on PC).
Of course the graphics will be dumbed down. What an idiotic question. PC Witcher 2 is one of the best looking games on PC, running DX11 and 16xAA etc. The xbox can't pull that off - noone ever expected it to. It's still cool it's coming to xbox though.
I know! Find a game on PS3 with the same scope (and I mean playable scope not background mountains), physics capabilities (destruction 2.0), graphics, vehicles (including jet planes, tanks, helicopters and boats) and 32 player online. Doesn't exist? Didn't think so - nothing even compares. DICE have done a brilliant job on it, they are limited by PS3/X360 hardware - they're not just being lazy.
Also - love how the tweeter thinks that 'UN2' stands for Uncha...
That's just not true. I'm an avid PC gamer (but play a fair bit of xbox too) nowadays, but Sniper: Ghost Warrior looked crap. Scenery looked nice but character models, gun models and textures were just all over - rubbish.
But SR is 100x more over the top than even the old GTAs. It's just too silly to me.
