Yes I know. That's even worse. Because I can download the EGS for free. But if I own I PC and I want to play ffvii I have to buy a PlayStation.
And even then it will run worse than on my PC.
Btw the game is using epics engine.

Looks a lot like the EGS deals. You know. The deals that everybody hates but for some reason if its Sony everybody loves it.
So when Sony pays a developer for exclusivity it's great. When epic does it it's the devil. Gamers these days need to grow up.

Skyrim. Singlplayer only Launched in 2011 still played by 25k concurrently on steam.
Fallout 4. Launched on 2015. Still played by 15k concurrently on steam

Their games may be buggy as hell and outdated. But Todd can launch any singlplayer game he wants and it will sell millions. Even if starfield is Skyrim with a new coat of paint.
