I'm not sure what their best is anymore but to me all they need to do is invest heavily in first party software but it seems they are on a different path. I see them just saying the X plays third prty titles the best along with 360 and Xbox games.

I have a Pro and my kids have my OG PS4 and we were looking at which system to get as our second one and the Switch was the easy choice as we love Sony's exclusives and play all third party titles on the PS4 and we looked at the exclusives Nintendo and Microsoft have on offer and we went with the Switch. As it is we're very happy!
I installed it last night and was just a playing and then I looked up and it was 5am LOL.
Good thing I'm more than satisfied with my Pro as I'll have more cash for games! Edit: Also folks keep saying games will look better on the X which is fine but what if you are satisfied and it doesn't bother you what then? I guess I would've cared about something ike that as a kid but as an adult not so much. I'm enjoying the games that are on and are coming to the PS4 and like I said I'm fine with how they look and run.
I thought the same thing as it would free up the dev to tell any story they want and the possibilities would be endless.
I'll stick with the PS4 version. Good option for those who haven't played it or don't own a PS4.

I'm in the same boat as I still have both DLC expansions to go through. Hell come to thonk of it I'm on the last mission of the main quest. So I'll wait till the Pro update and then finish it and begin the new quests! I've put so many hours into this game and still have to finish it.

I'm with you on Hob as I hadn't heard of it either and I just looked at a trailer and I'm sold! This is why I love Sony because not only do we get games like God of War, HZD, The Last of Us and so on but amazing little gems like this!
No. Sony had a gameplan from the start of this gen and have done a fantastic job executing said gameplan. As others have said they have so many talented developers on hand and so any great franchises and are creating new ones at the same time. If I were Microsoft I would take a cue from what Sony has been doing in the first party catagory and that is creating great games and creating new franchises to help define them as a brand.
They are all I play really. Now I like MMO's and the like but single player games sell and sell well as this year proves!
