miss all of sonys franchises that ive grown up on errr no while im pissed that i cant go online its not the end of the world. about the credit cards well they dont have my pin so any purchases online without it will be flagged and confirmed or denied by me so im not worried about it . while all this is an inconvenience for sony now at the moment im glad its down and maybe now we will get rid of all the cheaters esp those that plague socom. take you time sony and fix it right.
havent took reviews serious for a long time. but if this is what game journalists call 4 out of ten game i hang my head because a long time hobby of mine is being run to ruin. i can understand why long term vets as myself might be displeased and we always are a whiney bunch and very rarely accepted change.but to them i say try it and see how it evolves. but this game maybe not worthy of a socom name yet ( time will tell ) but it is far from a 4 out of 10 game. its a solid shooter and it plays...

i get my copy on friday. cant wait. while in the beta there was a few things that bugged me being a long time socom vet but like i did with all socom games i stuck at it and addapted to the style of play. classic mode has that socom feel to it they just need to tweak a few things and bring back all old game modes and maps via dlc and this game will regain some of the status it once had.

have to agree lev and im a socom vet.at 1st iwas wtf , found it overwhelming and was gettin shot from everywhere lol. learn the maps use cover be stealthy. zipper need to bring back and change a few things via patches and if they do it will be the best socom imo. none of the others where perfect either but we learned to adapt and will with this game . i think if the game modes and maps from the older socom games gets brought back this game will be a winner . day 1 for me regardless of score ....

yea i know it wasnt sandbox was more linear bein steered through the game but its still a good game.
crysis 2 deserves more than this . it is a good game . scores around 8 seem reasonable for this . all in all not bad for crytek's first effort on consoles.
i agree i started gaming on consoles thats where it will end with me . i work all day using pc 's so the last thing i want to do at the end of the day is game on them as well. every1 has what they prefer and mine is consoles. can see why people like pc gaming tho.
im a socom vet, at 1st i was let down by the game. respawn didnt feel like socom at all. would rather have lean left right and make your own cover as opposed to the cover in socom 4 , please bring it back zipper but the more ive played the beta the more i can see the similarities esp in classic mode. bring back game modes like extraction demolition etc and pull the camera back a bit more and while your at it bring back the dot reticule this game will deservedly get its socom name back. as it ...
yea do that, my advise is its a good game , top tier in graphics certainly and is able to hang with sony's 1st party games which is great. the game has a few problems but very minor. and crytek primarily a pc dev should be commended .to say that it beats sonys 1st party games is stretching it tho. killzone rightly so still stands at the top on consoles and im hoping battlefield 3 beats it which is possible, then thatll encourage sonys 1st parties to step up their game more.rent the game ,...

count me in , i must be a fanboy too even though my first next gen machine was a 360. things happen now i only need 1 ps3 is my choice . has my favorite franchises . thats not saying 360 was bad , it has its moments but i am wowed by the ps3 more especially its exclusives. so if only having 1 console labels me as a fanboy so be it.
disagree ,crysis2 is linear yes its still get point a to b but has variable ways to get there be it but its nowhere sandbox like what farcry or the likes of is. kz3 has open areas too but just not to the scale of what c2 is but floetry your wrong killzone 3 isnt a corridor shooter.
