there could have been towns and a world map in this game. but SE had to split its FF team to port it to the 3fixme so they had to cut back. less manpower equals less content. and SE was constrained by the inferior hardware and limited storage space of the 3fixme.
oh yeah, versus has all of those because it's a ps3 exclusive.

playing the gow collection, particularly for gow2, is a must.
the ps2 version of gow 2 was amazing but it had issues like screen tearing and slow downs. that's understandable because it was pushing the ps2 to it's limit. however, gow collection was silky-smooth at 60fps and no screen tearing.
