ff13 competes with ff8 as the crappies game in the series.
ff6 is the best in the series, followed by 7 and 12.
the only thing 13 has got going is a great battle system but x-2's is still the best.
not enough boss fights towards the end made it fall short. and wtf was those emo sequences where kratos was just running and swimming in the dark?
they should have made it more like gow2. that game's ending was brutal.

uncharted 1 was a 9 hour-game but it took me 5 hours to beat it the 4th time. same thing with deadspace when i was hunting the platinum trophy. the second play wasn't even 6 hours but the first one was about 13.
but it can be improved. it should be improved.
speeding up the battle system is a step in the right direction. allowing more combo should be the next step because it makes the game less boring.
make it like FF13, fast-paced. the enemies have high HPs so battles can still take several minutes but you won't notice it becuase you are always doing something.
both the crapbox and n64 are not HD consoles, anyway
the latter is not a good sign. as long as xbots can play with milo, no matter however buggy and laggy, xbots will be satisfied.
