this is sony we are talking about. no EA or Ubisoft. Sony cares about their fans. sony is pushing to make videogames more mature as an art form unlike ms churning out halo and gears for tweeners. that's why we have heavy rain, flower and stuff like this.
who cares if the game does not sell so well? ico was a flop but sony still made the go ahead to make a sequel. and shadow of the colossus did not sell failo number but ps3 owners still get a trico.

dragon age has a story - a lame, boring story. reading that codex and listening to the dialogue literally made me fall asleep. and this is coming from a guy who read brother karamazov in one week.oh yeah, DA's combat is as lame as its story.
i think uncharted 2 and demon's souls should be tied for GoTY. i platinum'd both.

but i played kz2 for months. stayed up late for it. yeah, it was fun and flawed. lately MP has been trash because the community is also dead. but it had the because sniper class/gun ever.
unless starcraft 2 and diablo 3 are released, i don't see anytime special.. unless you have a ps3. GT5, modnation racer and GoW3 in the 1st quarter alone.

besides, demon's souls graphics are the best for its genre this year. dragon age and star ocean look like crap. in fact, demon's souls graphics are on par with mw2.
