mass effect 2 is a bland 3rd person shooter with weak rpg elements. dialogues are good, though. but the controls feel sluggish and it is jaggies galore on the pc (probably worse on the 3fixme).
but heavy rain is a genre i haven't played in years. can't wait to play this game.

playing mass effect 2 atm.. all settings on high but the textures are fugly.. jaggies on the shadows, too.. btw, it's on 16x aa. yeah, the gimpbox also fcuked this up.

24 is not enough, based on the beta. i mean, if kz2, which still has the better graphics, can handle 32-player MP, why can't this do the same?

is mainly because the reviews were based on the beta.
mag itself is an expertly-designed technical masterpiece. the only potential downside would be the community. noobs and bot-like behaviour (eg, being a noob, idoit, asshole, or all 3) will make the experience unsatisfying. but since this is the ps3 community, which is soley comprised of mature, intelligent gamers, it's a certainty that mag will turn out magnificent.

a typical wii gamer probably logs in 8+ hours of gaming day in and day out.
i know i would if i were a 7-year old kid with no responsibilities or a 70-year old retiree with all the time in the world.
the wii is for little kids and old people.

mass defect 2 is highly overrated. the media wants to please the pc nerds and bots -- just like with bioshock and l4d.

so what if this is not noob friendly.. that does not mean it's not a good game.
it seems that reviewers want easy, kid games. modern glitchfare 2 was noob-friendly (have you seen the noob-tube exploit?). it was overrated.
these child-reviewers cannot handle a thinking man's game that requires skill and teamwork. besides, this is ign; prince of persia, a noob-friendly 5 hour game, was a 9.3 for these guys.
if you are a FPS fan who wants takes pride in winning instead of a high k/d ratio, then MAG is for you.
if you are a tweem xbot, then please stick to modern glitchfare 2.
