Yeah right... On PC, DVD is also still the format of choice. When that market will start to shift towards Blu-ray, so will developers.
If your machine can handle it, you can see the real difference for yourself.

Well, the sooner the mod's start coming in, the better. PC multiplayer is best played in private parties anyway and the use of mods only adds to the fun.
Good call! I like the idea of a proneless sniper class. They could also make it into a perk!
It's a matter of taste. No technical differences here.
That's true. But from an early stage it was already clear that Crysis 2 would be a console game that would also come out on PC and not the other way around. With Half life 2, PC was the main platform and the difference in textures and lighting compared to consoles was far greater. It's a shame that consoles are downgrading some succesfull IP's that originated on PC, but on the other hand consoles are where the money is nowadays and without consoles the software industry wouldn'...
Great looking game but the handling looks a bit odd.
Character models are way better in Gears 3! Also a good thing they added some more colour to the series. I was expecting they would also use Gears 1 in the comparison! Then you could really see how far the tech has come..
Ray, my eyesight is fine. Try to relax yourself a little. It's going to be ok Ray. Just having a discussion here, nothing special. Now go take your pills and sit down for a while... Just sit and breathe Ray.. Everything's going to be alright...
No.. closer to 5. The team developing the 360 continued working on 720 immediately after finishing work on 360. In 2008 they were still scouting for hardware, according to P.Moore. I'm guessing they've pretty much made up their mind what the harware specs will be by now.
The multiplayer MMO remark sounded familiar. I really hope the next xbox WILL support MMO's. In the beginning of 360's lifecycle, there was a lot of speculation about Massive Multiplayer Onli...
Looks great! The gameplay seems to be really "old skool" Splintercell. Is it a totally new game? I picked up the complete spintercell collection on xbox and xbox360 just before Conviction came out (for about 20$!) and been playing them every now and then sincethen. Conviction was a major letdown for me (black\white effect ruined the gameplay + use of updated unreal 2.? engine ruined graphics!) and I kinda lost my trust in the series. Seeing this vid. however restores some of that tr...
Lol, you said Heavenly Sword and uncharted...There's a world of differences between those games and Crysis 2.

Also Uncharted is really nowhere near as goodlooking as Crysis 2.

I agree Crysis isn't as polished as GOW3 or Uncharted 2 but techwise Cry3 is certainly ahead of the competition.
Princess Peach can ride my mushroom anytime...
It has always been about the graphics..
I'm about half way through the 360 version and besides some minor shadow issues (helicopter shadows that skip across the screen) and the framerate of some effects being very low, I can't notice anything wrong with the game. The framerate only drops below average when screenfilling events occur and when it happens most of the time you're not even in combat. The cryengine (even on consoles) is producing the best visuals I've seen in any game thus far. I only saw screentearing in...
Eurogamer:"But this world sits next to Uncharted 2's as the most detailed and well-expressed yet seen on our TVs.
[Editor's note: Look out for a Face-Off soon. However, we reviewed from the 360 version and were plenty impressed regardless.]"
Whoops.. double post.

I had my doubts about the game when the (beautiful) trailer emerged and I thought it would be "just another" zombie game. In reality it's shaping up to be a very promising title. Too bad somehow the word Stunning! has made it's way into this article though. That word is becoming less reliable than the majority of comparisons flooding the net lately.
I know!! but the data is still being shipped on DVD's!!!
