Having a hundred maps included in the package isn't reason enough to be impressed? Man, you're laying on the hate kinda thick there.
It's not necessarily necessary but I mean, for $60 bucks you are getting an incredible amount of value. If you ask me, THIS is how you do a remaster properly. All four games plus all the maps ever released? PLUS the ability to play the original MP maps from the first Halo online without having to patch through Gamespy to do it? You can bet your sweet cheeks I'm getting this.
I have the XB1 and I'm loving it. I've got my eye on the PS4 but I'm not seeing anything that says, "BUY ME NOW". I want to get a PS4 but I've yet to be convinced.
Console wars are for those that can't afford to get both systems and are eager to tell everyone which console they were forced to choose and put money down for.
I like Splinter Cell: The Darkiest Dark also.
@lazygoron
LMAO Uh... no. Halo 5 is not going to flop. You might wish that it will but it won't.
Yeah, I'll be getting this. Didn't play the first Horizon but I will not be missing out on this awesome sounding game.
They should be commended not only for their track record but for trying something new and interesting. If it was up to most gamers, we'd get the same thing day in and day out it seems like.
Same way you say that there's nothing to play on the XB1, that's about what I feel about the PS4. I have tried willing myself to buy it on multiple occasions and I can't justify the purchase. Plus I read a lot more comments about people barely touching their PS4's than I do people saying that about their XB1's.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I can usually convince myself to buy a console but as of this moment, I just cannot see anything making me want to buy this system.
Actually, I'm not gonna say that because the other games in the Uncharted series were pretty awesome in both the visual and game play department. I'm expecting no different from this one. Even though I lean more towards the XB1, I'm not the kind of gamer to short sell the competition and their games just because they're on the console I'm not playing on (as of yet). For me to knock Naughty Dog is just idiotic.
Most certainly. Ryse was strictly a tech demo and I had no real expectations for it. It was plainly obvious from the preview trailers what kind of game it was going to be but in all honesty, the game was a lot better than what people initially made it out to be. Had I listened to the masses moaning and groaning about it being a QTE-fest, I'd have cheated myself out of a fun game with an engaging storyline.
The style over substance bit is what I've been suspecting about this title since I first laid eyes on it.
At the end of the day, the difference is barely noticeable. Doesn't make you any less of a person because you can't see such a big difference between the two resolutions. People just feel the need to justify their purchase and latch on to whatever they feel makes their console of choice better, in this case a slight increase in resolution.
He's talking about the practice of hacking and leaking games for piracy purposes in general, which happens quite a bit with PC games. I thought he was pretty clear.
Well said. Tired of the armchair developers in here talking nonsense while they refute the claims and comments of... you know, ACTUAL game devs.
I've seen people arguing in here where it's clearly obvious that they have no idea what they're talking about and just spewing numbers and specs and figures... gimme a break and find another hobby, especially if your idea of fun is poring over spec stats rather than enjoying your system(s) of choice.
The updates for the 360 were nowhere near as frequent. I love the fact that I have something new to look forward to every month or so with the XB1 rather than having to wait 6-9 months like Funky Town said.
At this rate, the XB1 is going to be completely different from what we have now by the end of the year with all these upgrades and additions and I'm all for it.
Funny because I absolutely love my XB1 and all the stuff it does. You don't really hear people saying there's a drought of games on it either like a few others on this thread are saying about the PS4.
Even if you hate the Halo series with every fiber of your being, how can you disagree with this? I wish people on here would be a little more objective.
