if I remember correctly SONY said the 3D will not require you to by a new TV. but it will run better in a 3D ready TV.
I would like to mention two games for you, Halo 3 and Too Human. both exclusive to the 360, both had special engines made for them, and both had over 40 mil. budget. now look at the result you got from these two and what you got from KZ2 and UC1 and UC2.

Here in holland, in about every commercial break there is a PS3 Ad. going. thats a thing I have been noticing for the past three days.
the one I saw is similar to this one, but they were actually talking about games, not features only.
lets say they have 5 Mil. player, now lets imagine $5 each just for some extra content within the game. that alone is $25 mil. made. now think of the people who also paid for the subscription option they have. they even get more money.
of course that's not how it actually happen, but I'm sure it is more or less the same way.
