I think Destiny brings something very unique to the table. Advanced Warfare is very different from previous CoD games. They also tried something new with Ghosts - which didn't really pay off. Hearthstone is also something new.
I wonder if purchasing hard copies will become obsolete? Except of course for collector's editions and such
I hear you, some of the best games I've played had almost no marketing. Indies also bring out exceptional games, yet they cant compete with the likes of a Activision marketing campaign
