Yes the Xbox was a more powerful machine and also had better looking exclusives. PS2 obviously had a bigger lineup but Xbox games and experiences like Live not possible on PlayStation.
I want another Halo and Gears of War. Can't wait to see what the Xbox team has in store for gamers in the near future. MS is about to up everything and I can't wait to see just how they do it.
Has anybody seen recent Sea of Thieves footage? I didn't care for the game but now, I'm really excited for it. Way to go Rare and MS!
Of course there are games on Xbox but there are no exclusives. I hope Xbox gamers continue to ask for them and don't settle for less. MS has already stated they're on the way so hopefully soon we can get some announcements.
I wouldn't mind a sequel of this if it were multiplatform . Would love to see what this developer could do on more powerful console hardware.

Each company will do well but Nintendo will more than likely dominate. MS will gain some traction once they start announcing exclusives but until then I wouldn't expect anything major.

I took it as the expression on the guys face. They were not talking about ball punching but the expression on the guy face for crying out loud. That's the look you get once you see the power of x1x. You guys are in over drive trying to hate I see.
I would go with the X but still feel a need to own a pro for its exclusives. If MS starts announcing exclusives, that would be a plus.

I didn't dig the sp portion of the game. Not a bad game at all but just didn't feel like HALO to me. Sign up Marty for future triologys please. In my opinion his music shaped HALO kind of like the music in Backdraft the movie or any with a theme. The music is what also killed Gears of War and The Man of Steel in my honest personal opinion.

So what's best for the consumer? I don't agree with Phil on his death of sp campaign but how do we know what's best? Sony and Nintendo are definitely proving SP is still important but my question is simply that. Does anybody know what consumers want and not just what they want?

I can't answer that question. MS has stated exclusive games are coming so who knows. Right now it's no secret they're not doing well on the exclusive front but you know what I'm talking about.

No it's not all fact. Yes they're rated higher to a majority and have sold more but which would be fact but what I'm referring to is opinionated and that's a fact.

I think they should be especially if MS is seriously getting back into buying new studios. It's been kind of strange situation over the years but the truth is Sony has always feared MS controlling the console space and its fans no different. I'm all for competition (and I want it) but real soon we will see just how good the almighty Sony stands up to MS.
