the thing is... PD should have informed people on how this worked. People on the forums were confused and still are.
I heard that it gets better. But some said that the rally cars had amazing damage but other cars didnt. So i wish a vid was made showing a whole variety of cars and their damage.
My Camaro shows a lot more than my viper for instance.

I havent played any of the Forza's except for the 3rd demo but I have to give them props for the customization that they put in the game. Everyone on here should give credit where credit is due and Forza does deserve it and from what i played, it seemed like a great racer as well.
So glad I decided to install it. I would hate to wait that much longer.

well Im just saying that it was a bad decision to make. At least let the user have a slider or and ON-OFF switch to dictate how they want to play.
I had questions and went to the GT forums and they were up and arms and just as confused about the game as i was. Some people were saying it came at higher levels. Some said that even then, it wasnt that good.

I kinda have to agree The Maxx on the damage aspect. Unless people can prove me wrong. But Its my biggest gripe on GT5. I love playing the game.. and will probably play it more after football is off, but the damage should have been done better. I never owned a forza game but when it seemed to me, while playing the demo, that It was harder because of the consequences of hitting another car or a wall.

You can disagree all you want. But say why. There are big things that could have been better with the game. No mechanical damage whatsoever.
I can hit a car/wall as hard as i want.. and my car will handle the same as before.

Alan wake was an amazing game. And the game looked great as well. Its just a shame more people didnt buy the game
I have been playing it a lot lately. And I am a little disappointed. They rushed it out to get it out before the holidays when it should have been pushed back later to fix and add in the things they promised.
I still love the game, but I question a lot of the decisions they made including the damage. I see none what so ever. Some people say its better at higher levels.. but why?? why make that decision?
I actually would have to agree with you there. Thats the only thing that bothers me about standard cars. I want to race in the cockpit view but that only gives me the 250 some cars.
hopefully we can get some for free in DLC. I just spent about 200 dollars on this game (Game and Steering wheel) I would love to get some free content.

looks good. Like i said before, many months ago on here. Dynamic damage is very nice, but it sometimes makes for some unrealistic damage as shown here.
It's nit-picky but it would have been nice if the glass shattered or something. But other than that, very nice.

Like practicing on a rainy track. I would go to practice and then go to the track that said rain and no rain would come. I thought maybe going 10 laps would cause it to maybe rain. Nope.
