I'm sorry, but is there any proof that this is true? Proof that Sony can (or will?) diable you PS3 online AND OFFLINE, and not just ban you?
It hasn't even started yet and people are talking like Sony is destroying their PS3.

Yeah hopefully the console versions both look great, and who knows - will they include optional Kinect and PS MPVE support? Would be awesome for swordfighting and spells IMO :)
I wonder if you can play splitscreen in 3D, which mean the PS3 will have to render 4 frames at the same time.. ?!

How about firmware updates that won't let you use your PS3 for anything unless you have the newest firmware.
At startup it could promt you to "update you PS3", and if you decline the screen stays black/it powers off.
Extreme measure but it wouldn't be a problem for me, since I won't be using hacked sh*t.
I see a lot of security risks for us users as well: if we use a hacked firmware, how can we know that someon...
