This really depends on screen size and viewing distance. My pc "only" has a 34" screen but I sit maybe 2 ft from it at most, in this scenario 4k to 1080 is a large difference. But if you have a 50 in set that you sit 6+ft away from 4k means nothing but hdr would still have an effect.
Shares are only used when the buying company lacks the cash to make the deal. In this scenario (however unlikely) MS has the cash to buy EA and the other two if they were in fact for sale. MS has almost 150 billion stashed offshore that must be brought back which would then be taxed so buying a large company makes sense to avoid the loss of the taxed portion
Your numbers are pretty close but they usually place a small per share premium for a takeover. That being said EA has Had a few 3 billion in profit quarters and if they were to stack a few solid releases following the deal they could make that money back within a decade

Right, so good EA basically ripped it off to make it into mass effect andromeda then proceeded to release it a year before it was ready

1. Sony as a company was in a much different place financially when developing the ps3 where they could throw money at it. I'm no saying the sky is falling over there now but they're not wasting anything they don't have to these days

The reason console components are under clocked is to fight the high Temps. Overclock in a small box with crap cooling and your neo won't last a day. Overclock a console with proper cooling and the casual gamer will complain that the box is to big and sounds like a jet engine
