Game pass has 25 million recurring payment subs per their financial report, that’s 250 million a month what’s 10 for GOTG. I still play halo and haven’t spent any in game money(I did buy the game to have a physical copy) it does not have any pay to win aspects (👀 GT7). Gran turismo was my favorite franchise (still may be after I get over the anti consumer policies) that’s now sullied over some bull s$&@ greed.

It’s a loophole just one they are not concerned with closing until they have a number of subs that suit them. It may also be that so few utilize it that it doesn’t effect the bottom line. I don’t believe gp is that far in the red right now and will only bring more revenue as time goes on and more people jump on board. When GP hits smart TVs their subs will go crazy.

Quickest way to get a deal of this magnitude shit down by the FTC/DOJ/FCC is to say we’re buying this company and immediately making all of its products exclusive to our platform. It would be seen as anti consumer and killed immediately. This is why they have been so vague in regards to exclusivity. Having been part of two mergers (one larger than this deal) I can say legal has written them all an outline of what can/can’t be said at this point
