The review is spot on...I'm playing the game now and it is rather bizarre and intriguing. I like it.

I can't wait to get my hands on this game. Dungeon crawlers are quickly becoming my new favorite genre. I can't believe the devs who made Torchlight aren't giving us part 2 until later this year (maybe)...that sucks. They had the biggest first days sales in their company's history thanks to Xbox Live yet we get shafted. After Dungeon Siege 3 and this I may tired of dungeon crawling and avoid Torchlight 2 altogether...their loss.

Bayonetta (IMO) is the new standard for what beat em up gameplay should be like. Sure DmC has been around longer and I am a fan of the franchise but this iteration was a complete let down after viewing the gameplay trailer. It looked generic and mediocre at best. Unless some major changes are planned to fix this doomed project in the, I'm avoiding this wack shit like the plague.
The gameplay was amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing more about this game. It totally kills the first game in every way...IMO
This game has to be one of the best sequels EVER!! Just look at the content, upgraded graphics and gameplay. How could anybody in there right mind say that this looks like Gears 2? Having played the beta, I knew we were in for something special and this trailer more than proves it.

Why would MS copy someone who copied them? You and everyone who agrees with you must be out your minds with that remark. Achievements were a part of the 360 since launch whereas Sony watched how successful the system became and choose to follow...just like it did with the Wii mote design and renamed it Move.

I'm pretty sure there are some people who would love to see Gears on PS3, just like I would love to play Infamous on the 360. Think about it, who wouldn't love to have cross platform game battles on Gears, Drake, or Halo? This is completely possible with today's tech but it will never happen because of console/company bias.
"Gamers" are supposed to be fans of games, but according to some of these comments, that just doesn't seem to be the case. The console war is lame, both MS and Sony want us to pick a side because exclusivity equals profit. Being that I see none of that said profit, I could care less about THEIR beef just as long as they keep producing high quality games. I have a love/hate relationship with all consoles, but it has never allowed miss out on a cool game.
This is a definite Gamefly title for me...maybe.
Reasons for such huge numbers
1. Best TPS ever!!!
2. Huge fan base
3.The best most most polished beta ever!!
4.Expert execution of the Unreal engine.
5.Trendsetting and revolutionary gameplay.
I could go on for days as to why Gears is a monster but anyone who owns a 360 already knows why. Come on Sept!!
