Please explain "filthy"...
Guess jap cars ain't your thing?
American Muscle for you I guess?
To each his own.
94 Celica GT4....not bad, not bad at all...wonder what else they got?
Anyone seen the FULL car list yet?
If so, can you point me in the right direction?
1) I think the term you're looking for is "Wheelie" not "willy"
3) The GT500 is not doing a "Wheelie", the front end is lifting accelerating out of a turn.
This is a Wheelie:

And there, where is that chromed out protruding undercarriage there???
3) I don't understand the point behind the video's you posted. One show...
Point taken.....I guess I am at fault.
I'd like to apologize to the Forza fans for slamming Forza. I'm a fan of the series as well and I don't think I did Forza or GT any justice with my behavoir.
I guess I was just ticked off at how that Greenwalt guy kept on going off on how Forza was "THE Definitive" game of it's generation for blah blah blah reason, and how some fans of Forza blindly thought that his words were devine truth.
And I did mean to addres...
Yeah because lowering your car is a feature unique to Forza right?

ooooh and glitching is something only found in GT right??

And @ Xi, I stand corrected, I never really noticed the the front disc on the Camaro lit up orang...
Since when did the undercarriage of the Ford GT500 get chromed out and protrude soo much??

or the extensive jaggies throughout the camaro? (C pilar and lower air damn, heck even on the FM3 logo itself)
...
what are you smoking and where can I get some?
FM3 looks better than GT5????
Man, I will admit that FM3 brings more to the table when it comes to customization, online, community and whatnot, but to say that FM3 is graphically superior to GT5 is ludacris.....
I'm a fan of both series and appreciate what each game brings to the genre, but even fans of Forza must admit that GT5 is superior when it comes to graphics and level of detail.
As good as those images are, they just don't look "natural" and realistic to me....
Weird jaggies in weird places, reflections on the body panels look off, bad colision detection...
Check out the front tires on the z28 Camaro...they're in the pavement. =(

If you take a look at the sky in that image, it looks like they took an image of the sky and mapped to the interior of a sphere or dome....kinda making it look like you're in a dome with the sky painted on it and not in the real world. (does that make sense??)
Could that be it?
interested in seeing some more images of customized cars.
Will be a day 1 purchase for me.
Please clarify why that is PR BS?
are testimonials from real race car drivers any less beleivable and justified than the words of the developers?
If anything, I would like to think that it's the race car drivers that know just how car behaves in the real world, and they are the ones that should be judging if what the developers have created comes close or not.
I agree that both developers (turn 10 and PD) are both talented and both take their jobs seriously, but I...
Because Forza fans just won't acknowledge that as great as Forza is (don't get me wrong, I love the game too), Forza just doesn't measure up to GT.
They can claim that Forza has the better physics and better environments/tracks than GT, but if that were true, why do REAL RACE drivers still use GT and NOT Forza to learn tracks prior to a race? Because GT IS TRULY better than forza. GT has the better more realistic physics and environments/tracks.
Example:
Agreed.
Another few points to add:
1) Nissan approached Polyphony digital to create the vehicle management computer systems/readouts on their Nissan GT-R.
Don't see nothing like that for the Forza Devs.
2) Polyphony Digital has an award that it gives out at SEMA every year to the best car in the show. Don't see nothing from Turn 10 at SEMA. The winner's car get's digitized and put into the game.
3) Logitech, the premier peripheral manufactu...
Blown transmission anyone?
Forza 3 really is = Forza - Fast and Furious
I honestly think he did a pretty good interview....he commented on products from MSFT and left Sony out of it. Of course he's gonna be proud of what MSFT has to offer and he's gonna let the interviewer know.
He didn't seem like the big Douche-bag that he was a few months ago with those "sony sales are hemorrhaging at retail" comment....I dunno, maybe he's smartened up a bit?
Yeah, real cars can do what that Maserati did for sure...they'd probably just need a whole new transmission everytime they did it.
Forza 3 is sooo realistic....
Someone please please try going from their 2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th forward gear straight into reverse while doing a spin please...I'd like to see that video on youtube.
/sarcasm
I just never heard of "filthy" used in a positive context before....I usually associate "filthy" with something negative like...."She's a filthy wh0re!"....that's new to me thats all.
Things come across different on the internet.
sick, rad, wicked, it's all good.
Nope, I didn't know you had an STi, and no, I don't consider that American muscle...unless you somehow found a way to shoehorn an LS1 in there or something, then it'...
