It's a very addicting game. I've been going back to it as much as I can in the mix of all the other games.
From what I know the writer will be doing a few of these. After those "impressions" are done he'll be doing a full review of the game.
From what many of my friends who have played it they've told me I'll need to check the game out. I may do the same as you.
Abriael, not to bust your balls or anything. Does every post from you end up being something you could've just said in one full post about the pod-cast rather then hey let's split this up so we can milk the traffic? I mean every post I've seen today pass by on here has been about the same show.
Anyways, you never know what may happen, but we can always hope for another PD game or more.
Not so sound bad or anything, but MY GOD the site takes a while to load, and I see the used the tactic of making people go from page to page to get more *clicks*. I really think that site needs an upgrade in terms of how it looks.
On top of that they need a better "comment" system. As in Disqus, lifefyre or something. Anyways, not a bad list. However, some of the devs could in turn later on go to other consoles or even PC.
Eww, IGN? I'd rather seem some random site post than IGN who already gets enough traffic. LOL! However, I'm excited for the game.
While I do understand and I also write about games for some sites. I've also done PR work in the past few a site years back as well. Not every site is going to get a copy.
Example: Publisher gets only 500 copies of each format to send out. PR company or Publisher has to go through thousands of requests to rule out fakes, not legit sites, and have the list much smaller than before. After doing so they go through that list (most likely) and look over those request and eithe...
Yeah, it may have been around a long time, but it doesn't mean press always get review copies. Now if you're really big like IGN and etc sure... Not every site gets free games all the time, which requires at times to spend money and even if an embargo it doesn't hurt to speak with PR company in regards to posting.
Or maybe the OP from the site needs to learn that companies are limited on copies to send out to press. Not everyone will get a "review" copy of a game. I know many sites who gave Wolfenstein a low score and got Evil Within.
I gave up on doing any work today to play Shovel Knight. My girl is pissed off, but hey WORTH IT!

Not going to disagree on that. I think a lot of people waited for the price to drop with the last two games.
It was pulled within a few hours of being up. So this is kind of old news to everyone.
Hopefully the full game isn't going to be like that from start to end.
