Not true at all. People are saying the Crysis 2 is the best looking 360 game.
Although, I think it has too many graphical glitches to deserve the title.
Best graphics can't go to a game with significant pop-in and framerate drops, not to mention the grain glitch which makes it look crappy in later levels.
At times the actual game has the same blocky look as the low quality videos.
What's more pleasing to the eye or what looks better doesn't require a technical breakdown of polygons, textures, etc. Sometimes the whole is greater than its parts.
Crysis 2 would be a contender but the rectangular huge blocky film grain in later levels kills it.
Plus the framerate at times, pop-in and lack of sharpness.
It seems the games graphics go down hill afte that first raining level due to increasing glitches.
Well if devs didn't care then why is MS pursuing this. Many devs have complained about the lack of space on DVD.
And saying the amount of space doesn't matter is myopic, think about it...and the just because a game can ship on multiple disks doesn't solve space problem unless you can install on the HD as devs are forced to duplicate a lot of the game assets and design the game in a limited way in terms of progression.
It could go to better sound and higher quality cinematics.
More space the better I say.
I always wondered how really crappy games were rated 3-4 stars.
It needs to be worldwide sales to have any significance.
PS2 beat 360 in Japanese sales recently, although funny it's not a big deal. Those sales are nothing unless looking at the entire market.

No, I disagree. PS2 was king last gen and is certainly one or the best consoles of all time - but currently I'd rather play a 360 game than a PS2 game.
When we look back in 20 years, sure we'll probably say PS2 was better than 360 and PS3.

Too bad for Sony the Japanese market for games is so small, they'd be dominating in sales otherwise.
It can compete the way it always had, with Nintendo first party titles.

Funny how people complain about lack of players or are worried the console versions won't have nice graphics then say they don't want a new console gen for another 5 years.
PS3/360 now are what Wii was when it released, last gen (5 year old) hardware.

Rainbow Six Vegas was and is an amazing game, the gameplay was very open and strategic. And it has the best cover mechanic in an FPS till this day.
It was the great cover shooter that was overlooked due to Gears, but FPS games (gameplay wise) have gone backwards since it's release.
MP was kinda lacking though.
I like sports too, they're all about having fun and/or competition. That doesn't make them less relevant.
Games offer experiences that most of people will never be able to have (albeit with varying degrees of accuracy). But at least I have an idea of what it's like to face insurmountable odds and come out on top, or be trapped in a space station surrounded by deadly aliens, or win the Super Bowl, or have super powers, or kill a god, etc. Movies try but can...
I don't really like the idea of having to choose which missions I don't get, shouldn't they just be included? Give give me money off future purchases or dynamic wallpapers/avatar stuff but don't fragment the actual game based on what store you get it at.
It makes it feel like no matter what, you lose and won't get to experience parts of the game.
