In the words of Eminem:
"I'll bite your style and make it fresher!"
I was caught on a cycle of crappy replacements because my model was so old, they were giving me HDMI less consoles in 2009!
I kept just getting the extremely faulty 2007 refurbs that would last about 6 months.
'sigh' at least people believe the number now because it's kind of common.
I too am Canadian and didn't get any of my pre-order bonuses from Gamestop even though it's advertised on their Canadian webstie. This is complete BS, I'm f'ing pissed.
Move is the best way to play FPS games on consoles. It's so good in fact that playing with analog controls now feels very sluggish and inaccurate.
279.99 is s tempting but I swore never to be an early adopter again after my 5 360s.
Oooooew, so much purchase tension, must resist, must resist.
...Sony's doing it like 2009 again but with more awesome.
Because Sony already has too many amazing AAA exclusives coming out this year.
I am very happy I bought a PS3.
I think my gamer tastes are diametrically opposed to too many review sites.
There's no excuse or justification for piracy, if you think a car or any consumer product isn't worth the money, it's not an excuse to steal it. The law is failing in prosecuting digital criminals, IP theft will continue so long as the government turns a blind eye to it.
It's a shame really, these IPs are worth multiple millions of dollars so the theft is a lot worse than robbing a bank of 50 grand. It's like a modern day lawless wild wild west.
...
I've done that with a couple of games, it always happens after I put approx 35 hrs into them, not sure if I'm sick of the same gameplay or if newer games just steals my interest, I do plan on going back and finishing them though during the gaming drought in summer (if PS3 allows me to, too many great games)
Nope, maybe Battlefield if it had Move control. I never play COD MP for than than 10-15 hrs total, it gets boring.
I much rather use a mouse/trackpad on my computer. It's a lot more fast/accurate/efficient to slightly move my wrist than my entire arm.
"On behalf of all PS3 owners"??? Count me out.
I never cared about Linux, I have a way better computer at home.
Thanks sue-happy fkrs - now companies have more incentive to give less features, for fear of law suits. Why give more if upon discovering some security risk, or cost liability companies can't remove it, may as well give the consumer bare bones.
360 is huge in North America, not sure if it because of all of MSs marketing but consumers and reviewers just like it more. I don't think reviewers are intentionally biased, but it's clear from there reviews and general attitude towards PS3 that they favour 360.
Most consumers (at least 4 of my former 360 owning friends) after getting a PS3 though, can't believe they thought 360 was better in anything and think Live is a total rip-off.
Ahhh! Don't remind me of RROD, I went through 5 360s, my sixth (360 Slim) seems pretty good so far and is sexier than my PS3 Phat.
True, I recommend lowering the boxes significantly and the crosshairs speed too.
Here are my settings if it helps, I find them perfect and better turning/aiming than any standard controller could offer for consoles:
Horizontal: 0
Vertical: 20
CrossHairs: 0
Turn speed: 50-60
Auto Aim off
Hold Zoom
Toggle Crouch
Took me about 1.5 hrs to get used to the new controls, now I never want to play a FPS ...
Flower was 10 bucks, replay value/length definitely should influence a game score, if BS launched at 10 dollars it would deserve a higher score.
Value should go into reviewing.
Do you think anyone would give Super Meat Boy or Limbo such high ratings if they released at 60 dollars.
I hope so.
What if he stole the horse to catch the man who murdered 100 people? Should he still be hanged for doing a good deed.
I normally go through Amazon but for some reason I wanted K3 ASAP, I should have just waited a few days.
