This time it looks like the SP could be awesome. As long as the MP remains true, I have no problems with DICE making an Action War SP campaign - anything is better than BFBC2's SP.
Oh yeah, I may have to get in to PC gaming...graphics...sooo good. It looks like neither Crysis 2 or Rage will take the graphics crown, this destroys both. This is next-gen.
Developing with the PC as lead platform makes a huge difference.
Regardless MS is doing very profitable things with 360. They're probably bringing in close to a billion a year in revenues on Live alone. Not that I think it's worth 60 bucks nor do I think their business practices benefit gamers, probably the opposite, but some how they continue to sell snake oil time and time again, and it's not even cheap.
They even convinced people that 360 is cheaper than PS3, no one thinks about how their console will increase in cost 60 b...
That's a serious problem
The games definitely NOT broken but like all newly released online games it can use some gameplay tweaks
For 100's of thousands of people it is. Killzone MP is way more fun than COD and Reach's IMO, but I've never really like Halo MP.
Killzone 2 launched simultaneously world wide.
If VGchartz is right:
US bought 35714 approx per day for 7 days
Europe bought 50000 per day for 5 days
So for the first 7 days in each territory - and to compare to Killzone 2 - the sales would probably be around 600 000.
But the game is AMAZING so who cares.
The Global leaderboards show 381147 people played online at 3:26 AM eastern time March 2, so I'm guessing just over 500000 sold week one. I don't really care though, the game is awesome and it didn't release simultaneously world wide.
Guerilla may have pissed people off announcing a map pack the first week of release though. And I know the sluggish controls from K2 turned off some people from the entire franchise, well at least most of my real life friends who sa...
Seriously who gives a fok if the beta was on 360 first, the game's releasing for both on the same day and both look identical. You should praise Crytek for making sure both version run the same.
Stop being a fanatic.
Smart move by MS. Say what you want about MS but they are very business savvy, even though I complain about their business practices from time to time:)
They're definitely part of graphics otherwise you'd be looking a picture.
Then you'd be playing a different game in the end. What did you want Uncharted to do with the gameplay, turn into a racing game or a fighter.
Everything sounds repetative when broken down into its base components

Maybe the author hates the end-game difficulty spikes in games. The can be frustrating. But I still finish 95% of my games.
I thought commenting directly and negatively on the competition was beneath Nintendo. If NGP has a $250 version, consumers will be getting a lot more for their buck than with the 3DS. Even $300 seems fair.
Of course the publisher has power over the developer, the publisher pays the budget, presses for specific release times, dictates DLC, decides whether it's worth it to spend extra cash on getting the versions equal, ect. The devs have a say of course too but the publisher has a lot of power.
The publisher holds the purse strings, he who has the gold makes the rules.
I haven't seen a Bungie game with great graphics since Halo 2 - I think they're great devs but this gen graphics aren't their strong point.
There are plenty of amazing games that I still trade in to get new ones because no game has indefinite replay value. I put over 100 hours into Fallout 3 then traded it in because, although I loved the game, I'm wasn't going to play it anymore.
Same thing with yearly iterations of MP based games. I love BFBC2 but I'll trade it in before Battlefield 3 comes out. The only games I really keep are those that are part of a story series like Mass Effect, MGS, GOW, H...
My Move hasn't gotten out of sync once yet, hopefully it stays that way.
I prefer real tits, but I'm not against a lift or reshaping just keep the plastic out of them.
This would be my overrated game of the year. I think gamespot or IGN even nominated it for GOTY. When the media gets being something, they REALLY get behind it like zealous fanatics. Why is everyone like OMG, Super Meat Boy is amazing, it's ok for a Arcade title.
I guess it's just another game that's not my cup of tea.
Yeah, this game is seriously making me consider getting into to PC gaming, but it would be very expensive as I have to start from scratch. I'd even need to buy Windows.
