Bethesda and PS3 was not a success, imagine them porting a CBE build to the PS4 XD.
MGS,that story actually made sense. After that i stopped caring about the story.
MGS5 TPP did exactly what i wanted, more focus on game-play.
They've made UT F2P?Hmm..
Mods have been providing additional content for decades.
Some embrace that community and most won't for obvious economic reasons. Some expanded on existing assets and attributes, but only because the game engine allowed them to.
Even when it's harder and not so accessible it becomes a vital part of PC gaming,DLC on PC is in fact a total waste of your systems capabilities. When you look at it they've done almost anything to make a PC less Personal..
So people are getting more confident about their 8th gen purchase?
(I'm still not confident about this gen)and you introduce a tier 5 level system for preordering games?Yeah you really seem to have grasped the consumers psychological state of mind by doing the exact opposite.
After replaying 1&2 and not wanting to play 3 (again) i have my doubt it's the best.
The first Xbox actually impressed me back then, with games like Ninja Gaiden it was pretty much a new era of visuals to me (My PC back then wasn't up to snuff).
It was short-lived though and got repliaced by a system that was ushered to be the first out on the market, and that really showed. Then throwing X1 into the mix,how can anyone say " The Xbox brand is a success " it started off with potential and yet it never really delivered that much after that.
You obviously missed the RRoD debacle which costed them pretty much as well. What success?lol
He made a premise and concluded with that. How is that a contradiction?.
How is something intuitive when it's limited to a certain degree?while the UE is actually a real designer platform.Mario Maker to me is just a testament of Nintendo no longer knowing what to do with it.I can't even blame them lol, they've made so many games about Mario that the creative process would eventually come to an end.
Both these games are definitely worthy of GOTY,and i can't choose between the two in that regard,I would say MGS:TPP would be mine because it took me by surprise compared to all the other MGS games.
Witcher 3 is definitely the best WRPG i have played in years.
I guess the latter is more complimentary than being a GOTY.
Platforming: Ori and the Blind Forest.
Having to depend on the internet to play games (campaign)
is not progress, the cutting-edge technology in this case is
more of a hindrance than actual beneficiary.
You mean the game that had memory leaks for a lot of people for a long time? The game is great but it wasn't optimized at release.
They did an exquisite job with this port,
an excellent apologize for the mess that is/was Arkham Knight. *Nvidia and Kojima-san & co*
That's actually how you get the most out of hardware especially when it's exotic hardware, the collaborations between studios is exactly what you want to see. There's WAY MORE innovation in the 7th gen compared to now.
UNLESS you wanna bring up the power of the cloud.XD
The fact is quite the opposite,CBE required more thinking than X86.
PS2 and PS3 exclusives suggest otherwise,it's not about wanting to learn it's about how much will they have to spend.
X86 times harder LMAO
The Cell processor was a mistake.... no it wasn't.
You wanted X86 architecture ( well the developers wanted it).
and what did you get so far?a lot of remastered games.
It made developing easier LMFAO give me a break it made porting easier hahaha hence the remasters, they didn't want to invest time in learning the PS3 tech while the PS2 wasn't that much easier.
Making MGS:TPP multi platform was still a risk.
The game sold 6 million on the PS3 right?and was considered a system seller. If they only had to develop it for PS4 it could be a much lower budget plus Sony could've helped here and there as well (the latter is probably no longer the case because of Sony's financial position)Multi Platform doesn't always mean less risk, the financial risk could potentially be bigger because you're not part of a company that depends on your...
