I agree. The ps3 has years of life left. I don't understand why everyone is making this push for next gen consoles. Think about it: What can be done on next gen that can't be done now? Visuals? Is that all? Just shiny graphics? I'd like to hear for once what game changing thing can be done to make this push.

Why not? I spend $1,000 on mine 2 days after release. The normal price when it first dropped was $600+ so why complain about it?
I honestly haven't experienced a good RPG since FFVII. I really haven't gotten back into RPG's but would Ni No Kuni be a good start for me to get back into it? What else would you recommend?
True. I think I'm only a level 45 and it only takes 2-3 arrows to drop a dragon. As far as weakest goes, it's definitely mudcrab, skeever and spider.

It's not just the Cell that makes the graphics. It's all about the developers deciding how far to take the tech. If they are lazy, that's why you have repeated graphics game after game. But this is what you get when a developer is actually trying and wants to take advantage of the hardware.

Battlefield 3 is HANDS DOWN the best online shooter!!! No questions asked. Everything from the visuals, controls, and sound make this game incredible. Every other shooter is years behind this shooter it in quality and everything else.
Everyday until the reveal will be these ridiculous renders that won't be anything like the final product. Yea I'm sure Sony is just gonna jump outta their seats for Joe Blow's PS4 model render.

Yes. DLC is the new profit for companies these days. They charge for media that could have easily been released when the game comes out. But instead they release $50 worth of DLC on top of a $64.19 game.
It won't stop me but I will be disappointed. But then again it's Sony, so I expect disappointment anyways.
How about Extended Play? Before it was X-Play. That was the good days. I miss all the gamer shows like Judgement Day. That was my favorite.
