Imagine if everyone thought the way this author thought. Consoles would never get off the ground and everyone would be PC gamers.

I've proudly bought launch consoles through 4 generations and as long as there are consoles, I'll be right there snatching up a console from the first batch.

Titanfall almost made me build a gaming PC and buy a gaming laptop... But then I realized I have both already. Regardless, I'm still excited to play Titanfall!

I believe Playstation Plus has a hand in these console sales. Value is to be had siding with Sony this go around.

??? All races have been making videogames for years. My goodness I was born in the wrong moment in history. Sick of all this race talk.

Thinking of which, I'm going to travel off base and see if there are any for sale.

I prefer there not be a sequel. This was a great game, easily one of the best of last generation. While it would be ok to see a sequel but just as nice to let it be the last by adding some DLC to end it all.

I would love to see what else ND could come up with. Thus far their IPs are just amazing... I dont want to see TLOU 4. I'd hate to see them get stuck into an Uncharted cycle (but please keep Uncharted going).

In short, keep the creative juices ...

8 Reason this author can suck a _ _ _ _! This is Playstation 4 and the first 3 haven't let me down yet.

I'm almost getting tired of posting this article as to why XB1 is struggling with the resolution output.

http://www.anandtech.com/sh...

In order to accommodate the eSRAM on die Microsoft not only had to move to a 12 CU GPU configuration, but it’s also only down to 16 ROPs (half of that of the PS4). The ROPs (render outputs/raster operations pipes...

The creators of Diablo left Blizzard and made Torchlight...

Development of the game was led by Travis Baldree, designer of Fate, joined by Max Schaefer and Erich Schaefer (co-designers of Diablo and Diablo II), and the team that worked with Baldree on the original incarnation of Mythos.[12][13] In September 2012, Runic Games released a sequel, Torchlight II, for ...

Xsilver and Abizzel - thank you for putting me on to that video. That was funny as all hell.

*Back on topic - Amazing to see the numbers of the launch consoles. It goes to show I wasn't the only dumbass waiting in line for the PS1 and 2. PS3 and it was too expensive so I didn't have any problems going to the store and buying one. and PS4 I saw the writing on the wall when they debuted it, I went right to Amazon and pre-ordered it. Hell of a product Sony - now ju...

I want to get my money's worth and there is no reason I should go back in time. This ain't Back to the Future. Progression is what I need and when I get my 4K television do I want 720p upscaled or do I want 1080p upscaled? One is going to look a whole lot worst than the other.

4382d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Resolution is the biggest issue. Not all games need to run at 60fps. Mainly shooters anything else that just so happens to do 60 fps is nice to have but not required. 1080p is the requirement for this generation. Nobody wants upscaled graphics on a 1080p TV... I didn't care for it last gen and that 8 years ago.

720p/1080p TVs were not the standard when PS3/360 came out. Here we are almost a decade later 1080p TVs are fairly commonplace in majority of the households in the US. 720p gaming has been rough these last few years on a 1080p TV. Going back and forth from my computer to my PS3...you can tell it was time for a graphical update to the consoles and the NEXT gen gaming was well overdue. That brings us to todays systems. PS4 did what X1 should have done, 1080p standard to match what today...

PS4, I thoroughly enjoy the system. But PLEASE redo the DS4 thumbsticks! The rubber layer is already chewed through. I've owned every single DS official variation and I've never had one break or fall to pieces and everyone of them still work till this day. Except for the DS4... Fix it ASAP, thanks in advance.

I purposely haven't looked into this game because of how far away this game was but my freakin' goodness, I can not wait! I love the cinematic display. I could watch this as a movie.

Pozzle - Looks like I'll dust off the PS1 and pop in FFVIII with that knowledge. Thanks dude.

4384d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I might get drop kicked in the face for this... but I never could get more than 5 hours into FFVIII. I couldn't stand the random battle system, every 2.2 steps I was fighting something. My favorite is FFVII. In this day and age, Cloud would be perfectly fitting.

I'm sorry bud but that isn't the reason behind it. Have you read the article? My laptop has less bandwith than the Xbox1 but puts out 1080p because of the 680m it has. Also, it has DDR3. The problem is the ROPs.

4387d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

First off Rebellion Games should be ashamed of themselves for asking an uninformed questions. eSRAM has nothing to do with the output resolution.

"The ROPs (render outputs/raster operations pipes) are responsible for final pixel output, and at the resolutions these consoles are targeting having 16 ROPs definitely puts the Xbox One as the odd man out in comparison to PC GPUs. Typically AMD’s GPU targeting 1080p come with 32 ROPs, which is where the PS4 is, but the Xbox O...
