Yes and No. The game has to touch you in a way to make you keep coming back to that world. I have 180 hours in Skyrim (PS4 Pro) and 285 in The Witcher 3 (X1), I have not fully completed both games as far as important secondary quest go or in the Witcher's case, discovery in general since I have not started Blood and Wine and Im patiently awaiting my X to finish it off in 4k.
I beat Horizon Zero Dawn in about 50 hours including a lot of side quest, but as good of a game...
Never had that issue... But I play on X1 so maybe it's a glitch on PS4
Im not saying it's hard, Im saying it's easier to plug something in. Plus the majority will be weary thinking they "May" accidentally screw something up trying to unplug the old HDD and replacing it.
It's easier and more beneficial to use an external, Sony added external drive support for that very reason. Most consumers are not going to open their console up just to replace the slower HDD if they can use an assortment of faster SSD's.
4k 60 with graphics like this sets a new standard for shooters on console, this and Halo 5 Enhanced.
Horizon was the sole purpose I bought a PS4 Pro in the beginning of the year, It was a great game, BUT that said, it is missing the emotional attachment that games like Skyrim or The Witcher 3 gave me. I don't know what it is, it is great and def deserves game of the year imo. Can't wait to see the next open world IP from Guerilla Games!

Exactly! I bought a Pro back in March with Horizon and a 4k TV and have been wanting more Pro Enhanced titles! I do wish the Pro had the benefits the X does like automatic texture filtering on older games that don't have a patch.

As someone who bought a Day One X1 in 2013 I was a let down by the performance gap, But now that I have a PS4 Pro and a 4k M series Vizio, I am ready to have an Amazing Exclusive and Multiplat console! I bought a PS4 Pro strictly for exclusives, at the time being Horizon.

I was not downplaying your comment, just adding to it... The X does an amazing job at texture filtering which is ALSO just as important as higher res textures, but people downvote lol
It is and isn't, We have seen games like Gears 3, Oblivion and Fallout 3 look insanely better with textures looking wayyy more high def than the original when there is not "HDTexture" or "X Enhanced" patch being implemented strictly due to the native 4k up-scaling and Texture filtering (draw distance in which textures fully load).
So even games built with lower res textures will still look waayyyy better and sharper and appear to have higher res tex...
Im am sick and tired of hearing that... I have a Pro strictly for Exclusives which imo, Sony has better unique IP's BUT most of my library and 90% of other gamers libraries consist of Multiplats like , COD, BAttlefield, Battlefront, GTA, The Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Far Cry, Fallout, NFS, Madden, Fifa, etc. So my system Choice is mostly on what multiplats play better on which will be the X, lus I want a UHD Player and my Pro does not offer that ;)
