You might've had a point if MS raised the price of the service in the past year or so, but it's been 49.99 for what, 8 years?
As someone who had XBL back when it started, that was when we were getting ripped off. Now, we're paying for a damn good service with many features the competition doesn't have that actually works and a service that actually has DEMOs for EVERYTHING.
You get what you pay for.
