rented it, played it for a couple of days and grew bored with it......its the same gameplay as gow I and II.....which might not be a bad thing, but it gets old after a while....(let the disagreeing begin).
As an actual mission in Nier, I was forced to play one.....seemed almost like an homage to the genre, but it turned into button mashing to get to the end as quickly as possible.....so, probably not.
some douches on this site disagree with comments just to be obnoxious......nerds.
nier kicks ass.
the only people who disagree with that last post are the ones who live like that.
adults play pokemon....those same adults are typically over thirty years old, live in their moms basement, beat off to samus from metroid, and are still breastfed........the only exercise they ever got was from a pokewalker, but they figured out how to get around that.
LMFAO
almost forgot.....a psp phone is a bad idea.....most of us already have cellphones....I want my portable gaming device to do just that....portable gaming! I firmly believe when you start adding too many bells and whistles to these devices, they become more prone2to malfunction and damage....make a psp2 with 2 analog sticks and some other small improvements and we're set, we dont need touchscreens or 3d....just a capable unit with accessible controls and we'll be good to go.
MS: dont care.....natal is totally boring and using my body as a controller does not interest me......Wii and move are ok, but natal seems like its missing an element to be successful.....the only thing I think MS could announce is a new console KOTOR, or bring the new old republic mmo to the 360 in addition to the pc......what would really get me hyped is an announcement of xbox portable!
Sony: hoping we see a new iteration of PSP (psp2) and/or some really good psp games (...
@captain obvious:
insecure, homophobic, bigot.......all the symptoms of being a closet gay.
I'm thinking that the only way the go is really worth the price is if it is priced at 100 bucks......especially since its more or less a "stripped down" psp 3000 with 16gigs of memory......
My local gamestop had a preowned black one for the longest time for 150 bucks....I was momentarily tempted to get it, but it still does'nt seem worth that much money, especially when you already own a psp 3000.....the PSN is ok, but with the psp go, they basically have a monopoly on the games they sell. Which, I might add, are the same price as UMDs (and in some cases more expensive) without any incentive to buy them opposed to picking them up in physical-Umd format with a case and bookle...
@realitycheck:
I agree, Daxter was a great game (it's only 2.99 at gamestop right now also!), secret agent clank wasn't too bad either.
I just bought a wii earlier this week......I'm really diggin it.....Of course, I already have a 360, PS3, PSP and DSi...Ive been gaming for over 25 yrs.
The wii, much like the other systems has only a handful of good games....If you look at PS3 or 360, theres really only about 5 "great" games that really warrant a purchase for each of their respective systems, i.e. Halo, Uncharted, etc....etc....
Its really no different for the Wii....myself, I picked up Punch out (Im ...
Virtual Boy, anyone?
Enough said.
knew this was going to happen, thats why I got my preorder money back and kept my 3000......failure!
I feel sorry for those of you that dropped the money, I see it as a clearance/bargain bin item in six months, tops.
Cool, I work on a military base here in chicagoland, wonder if their prices will be reduced and tax free, like the exchange?
yeah, it's no doubt over - priced. The only upside is the on - board memory, which you can buy 16gb cards for 50 bucks now.
and to the people who claim to like the one they bought, well I'm sorry, but I don't buy it.....I think youre just trying to make yourself feel better for buying an overpriced-underwhelming piece of gaming.
sorry dudes, save it, I might get one when it's sitting in the bargain bin for fifty bucks.....next month...
Just picked up the PSP version at the Navy exchange along with a PS3 copy of Red Dead Redemption.....played the first level.....It's in 2-D, pretty good so far.....reminds me of the old school POP, also kinda like the assassins creed II game for the DS.
