The resolution for this game was to low for that even to be done. It's probably upscaled in HD, but nothing can be done with the aspect ratio. They would have to redo everything to get it right without stretching it.
glad you did. Its quite common for a game like Adventure as it is more than 10 years old! Check out Mario 64 or any of those beloved classics from the PS1 era. They don't look too hot either, but they're still fun.
Believe me, age can never take away how fun a game is. If that were true, then Mario 64, Jumping Flash, and Mario Kart 64 would all be unplayable as well. Sonic Adventure is a great game, and this review, in my opinion, just didn't do it justice. Many of the things said don't even exist in the actual game( 2D sections? lol wut?).
Why not both. Sonic Adventure is awesome though. I own the original. ^_^
10 bucks says that Super Mario 64 would still get at least an 8, even though it "too" hasn't aged well.
I know I'm grasping at straws here, but there is nothing in this game, that I found, that ruined the gameplay for me.
Isn't that what really matter in the end?
PS3/360 users can look forward to their own 3D Sonic for the 20th anniversary game in 2011.
I remember when a buddy of mine at the time showed me how to reach the first warp zone at the undergound world 1-2.
As far as favorite moments, mine has to be the first trip to bowser's castle in Super Mario 64 for the DS. I have never beaten a 3D Mario before, so that moment had a special place in my heart, since that was the first Mario game I have ever beaten(as far as the minimum requirement).
The 3DS will launch for $190 this year.
than wait for the reviews, you insecure pope.
It was unfinished. This, however, is.
Well, its definitely polished. It still doesn't have the momentum-based mechanics of the classics, but it certainly looks fun, so that's good.
Team Rocket Blasts off at the speed of light!!
The PlayStation brand is a legend that will live on as we keep on gaming on PlayStation.
“A lot of children have hand-me-down phones as opposed to having dedicated portables like the DS or the PSP...”
What is this...I don't even...
such a great little system that I never owned when it launched (thanks, PS2). I own one now though, and Sonic Adventure kicks *ss!
...
Tron?
lol, oh I see what they did there. I couldn't catch it the first time. ^_^
lmao, That made my day. Butttons really are needed. ^_^
I don't want Japanese developers to change for a trend that will most likely blow over in a few years like every previous trend has done. Stay Japanese, Japan. That's what makes you different, and why I appreciate your style of games because of your unique approach to game design. Don't try to be like us.
Its times like this where I pity the Japanese's sense of modesty.
