People tend to forget rather often that Nintendo has tried the horsepower approach. Twice!, and both ended up with the Playstation still dominating. Why would Nintendo backpedal to a method that has got them nowhere?

Who cares how proffesional these gamers are, They are no more of a gamer than we are, and no amount of difference in skill is gonna change that.
a backlight was the selling point of the GBA SP, but it didn't stop others from conserving battery when necessary. Its a selling point whether you use it or not because the games will be good regardless.
Whatever happens, Sony has been a rather worthy opponent, all things considered.
