Why couldn’t the finished version just get released first and tack on some extras onto the later version? The reason is because that wasn’t part of the deal when Microsoft dropped millions into Square Enix’s lap.
Square Enix is equally to blame for this blatant disregard for the fan’s patience considering that we have been waiting for this game since 2006. I love my Xbox 360 and I have played it to death many times (literally), but I am no tool.
I have friends that their Wii's stopped working. What's the problem with that? Every electronic equipment has a percentage of failure. This is not a problem like the X360. All my friends X360 died at least twice. That's something to be pretty angry about.

The days of saying that the PS3 doesn't have game are long gone now.
First it was M$ stealing exclusives from PS3 as FFXIII and DMC4 but now most of the PS3 exclusive games for 2009 are published by Sony and most of them are being developed by Sony's studios anyway. MS can't steal that and their new way of competing is paying for
exclusivity of demos and DLC for multiplat games? LOL

@TOO PAWNED don't forget that all these money and years developing the game weren't simply making the the game but developing their engine and leaning a new architecture. Remember that Killzone 2 is their first game this gen and the architecture of the PS3 isn't exactly easy but entirely new because of the Cell and how the Spe works and the direct connection with the GPU and 256MB of ram that runs at 3.2GHZ.
The PS3 has 512MB of ram but only 256MB is for games and this is one of ...
But then they came with the cliched of the Dark and Light worlds and ruined everything in the sequel... =|

The first Prime was the best and the tacked on motion-sensing isn't going to make it better. Nintendo probably aren't going to improve the graphics either(I expect an updated 16:9 at least, the games was already 480p anyway), considering that they think that graphics do nothing for games so, why waist time instead of use that resource for new games?

R2 is amazing but it doesn't deserves a 9. It has so many flaws...
Then what about Dynasty Warrior games, Monter Hunter games and Gundam games? They always get bad scores from reviews. What is your response to that?

A console don't make the games good or bad, the devs are the responsible for that. Consoles simply play the games and if you choose the X360 or PS3, well, it's your money and you do with it whatever you want.

PS3 offers a reliable piece of hardware that play HD games and movies, Windows 7 only offers the redemption after the Vista fiasco... A quick fix to a total fail of an OS. =)

I always enter to these stupid articles about FFXIII to found 0% of new info and this is starting to piss me of. If you have nothing new to say then don't post sh1t.
I don't know in what world are you living but when FFXIII was announced for X360 that same day Square-Enix stated that both versions are coming at the same time. Which means that the PS3 version is already delayed...
The game is coming first to japan(the usual) as a PS3 exclusive (no X360 version in japan) and then, you know the rest... We'll have to wait like 6 month until the game gets out of japan.
Lucky of us if the game comes to america this year.

Dear @kevoncox - the X360 is very unreliable, It doesn't has blu-ray, I have to pay to play online, It doesn't plays my old catalog from PS1/PS2, I don't like Halo nor Gear of War or Fable, most of its JRPG are crap... I'm not a fanboy but I really don't care about anything the Xbox can offer. = \
