The dominant market for video games is America = the most money. The X360 is doing better on America than the PS3 and Square wants a piece of the pie so they release these exclusives trying to penetrate this market because they want lots of money. They don't care about Japan because they know that even if the X360 is almost a failure there, if they keep releasing exclusive games the install base will grow and then they will penetrate 2 markets at the same time while evading the additional cos...
This game was hyped a little because devs promised that the game will have beautiful graphics rendered at 1080p and running at 60fps on the PS3. In fact, the CGI trailer is supposedly real-time...

Well on the first couple of pics the first/old looks a lot better. On the second couple of pics the second/newer pic looks much more detailed but let me tell ya that both of the old pics look like CGI.
If that was real time on the PS3 then I prefer the old build by far... =D
This game could have been so much better on PS3 because of the superior graphics and online components... But what Capcom wants is money and by developing the game for the Wii it has more potential buyers. Specially in japan, were this game really shines.
MS is not only ruining gaming, they even have the shame to sell broken consoles... The worst part is that they know it and they don't care. =/

I don't know what point you want to make but what about the X360 then? It cost even less than a Wii... Does that mean that MS is admitting that their console it's a cheap piece of crap? Considering how often it breaks you could take my statement literally.

MS is a software company so this statement sounds just right. But when he say "Defined By Software", he means like better applications or better support for Devs to make graphically impressive games more easily.
As you can see this gen the PS3 have been the superior on hardware from a technical stand point and even on the reliability side but games have been performing better on the X360 because of better software... But this doesn't mean that the X720 will be too far ...
