me too... if you have a 3dtv, be sure to give it a shot. the 3d effects in trine blew me away. i almost bought it on he spot just for that.
I'm not surprised.
it cool that you enjoy kinect for voice commands... but the thing is that voice commands can be done without the camera. a microphone would work just fine if they would implement it.
this is a little different. this is more about dropping kinect than it is about dropping price over time.
first game that comes to my mind for being so bad that its good:
jurassic the hunted
recommended if you're the type who likes B-Movies
i got the toshiba 65l9300u
i was going to wait a while to get a tv, but i found a deal that was too good to pass up. the tv had an update that updated the hdmi ports to 2.0, so im future proof on that front.
i have yet to see anything, games or otherwise, look worse. blu ray movies look great, broadcast tv has the least amount of improvement, but still looks excellent.
when i played infamous second son for the first time on the 4ktv, i was fl...
i bought a 4ktv a few weeks ago and i absolutely love it. i know theres not really any 4k sources around, but the up-scaling makes games look phenomenal, especially 1080p native games. even ps3 games that are 720 native get new life with the resolution bump.
as far as input lag, as mentioned above, i feel as if this tv in game mode actually has a better response time than my previous 1080p tv
im playing through deadpool now, and i dont think ive ever laughed more while playing a game
meh, i wasnt a fan of jetpacks or mechs in kz3. i hope they are kept in separate modes, or just in certain new maps.
mario kart is the game thats making me want a wii u. Mario 3d world looks great but didn't make me pull the trigger. itll be great to catch up on the few games that i do want to play. plus ill be prepared for the next zelda.
theres also a few praising the move. its just big news right now, and we'll probably see a ton of arguments from both sides of opinion in the next week.
@silvery
youre reading way too much into what i said. like i said, i prefer discs to digital. it has nothing to do with supporting the developer, nor did i say that supporting them was my goal, its just my personal preference.
why not save $10? well if i decide that i want to sell the game a while after im done playing it, i can easily make that money back and put it towards the next game i want to play. its really much more simple than your little rant made ...
lets also not pretend that this is as serious as a DRM, or kinect is always watching you type thing. this is not even close to the same level of those "cant just flip a switch" issues
its still too expensive of an upgrade, imo. as someone who prefers physical discs over downloads, i cant see a reason to download it instead of buy the disc. that said, had the upgrade been $30 or even $40, id have been all over it. instead ill just buy the disc for an extra $10.
im disappointed in the upgrade price. guess ill just buy the bluray version. that way if i stop playing it, it will have trade value.
still very much looking forward to the game tho.
i am appreciating the dim setting. my tv has glass that is very reflective. the new setting makes the light much less noticeable.
possibly just delayed. the other versions will be released on Fridays, coinciding with the movie.
"limited edition"
seems legit.
thats actually a good question. im so busy on a normal basis that i actually wish i had more time to play. i do most of my gaming late at night tho, from about 10pm to 1am.
the reason i have been able to get so many plats is that i focus on one game at a time and dont move on until i have 100%. at least for the games that i want to plat. there are games i play just to play and not worry about trophies.
