its not that i don't agree, i do. there is a huge market for this type of game, but they haven't laid any groundwork for it. the vita has been out for over a year and i don't recall seeing any games for kids. unless this is the start of something bigger, they are going to be very disappointed in sales
anything thats new from any of the first party developers
this is a joke, right? right?!?
i think that this one should have been built for ps4. give people who are on the edge a reason to jump to next gen. but i also understand the other side of the argument, which is that ps3 has a huge install base.
hate to say it, but i lost faith in the series after playing RE5
i can't imagine that an android based console would even be in competition with ps4 xbox or wii u. its kind of its own thing
i know youre trying to go against what i said, but really youre just backing me up. my point is they are making business decisions. some people are quick to 'give them props' for listening to gamer, as if its out of the goodness of their hearts. no, they are making these changes out of necessity.
i am one of those americans. i preordered a ps4 the day after E3. still i feel bad for the people who are getting screwed
i hope they focus more on new and less on stuff weve already seen. cant wait tho!
anyone who thinks they care about the consumer in any possible way is completely delusional.
they made these changes based simply on the feedback of 'im switching to ps4' that was made by the majority of vocal gamers on the internet. all of the polls, some which had votes in the tens of thousands (amazon poll), showed that people werent on board with their policies.
i give them credit for changing these policies and getting some of their fans back. b...
didnt microsoft just say on twitter not to believe everything you read? i guess they meant that for themselves. they only care about the US market. its a shame for those millions of people in other countries.
i don't think anyone did believe it...
i try to only spend $60 on games i know are worth the price. for example, the last of us was worth every penny to me and much more. same for mostly any other game i buy on day 1
i guess it takes a while to flip those switches
the sooner the better!
i love 3d gaming. i felt it added some nice immersion to the visuals. unfortunately for me im in the minority and its going away
but i didnt go to the article. the headlines are there. theres no harm in commenting. thanks for your concern tho
i think it means that microsofts claims of drm, kinect etc being built into the architecture of the console were wildly exaggerated. they were hoping for their fans to blindly follow them into the next generation regardless of their policies.
its same thing that sony had hoped for in the ps2 to ps3 transition. consumers just dont work that way these days.
i believe in letting the consumer choose. my choice is to not buy a xbox one because it comes with kinect. show me a xbox without kinect for $350 and i would consider it when i see exclusives im interested in.
i say $350 because theres no way kinect is only tacking on $100 to the console
id hope so, being that shooters are what xbox is known for
