I hear you bro, I use metaphors too much but I'll use vehicles as an example. on one hand we have a car capable of speeds excess of 200 mph, and right next to it we have another car capable of speeds up to 120 mph. If the max speed limits vary from 45 to 75, then whats the point of all the horse power if all vehicles aren't allowed to exceed the speed limit?
Thats one way i look at cross platform development, both consoles can do so much but games have to b...
Everyone has electricity. We all pay and electric bill right? Lets just say on top of paying an electric bill every month, the electric company you pay decided that every time you turn on your tv and/or turn a light switch on and off in your home, they would charge you and additional charge everytime you flipped the switch or hit power on your remote, even though you are already paying monthly to keep your power on... Thats how Microsoft thinks.
a V10 engine is a lot more powerful than a V6 engine, its like trying to race a car with a V6 against a V10 saying "oh, the size and power of the engine doesn't matter, my V6 is just as good"...
Hes a typical corporate fathead that doesn't know shit.. its seems most American companies today hire leadership like this..
for some reason, Microsoft reminds me of Don King... hmm
proof is in the pudding, not words
Brilliant, example of MS's target audience right here
People don't want to hear logic. They still believe everything MS says. With MS's track record of letting people down I don't see anything changing. There is a blurry line these days between hope and reality. I just ready for the damn consoles to come out to finally see first hand whats the truth and whats BS
@No-Limit
disposable cash to throw around and 1 billion on internal gaming development to give gamers everything they never asked for.. nice. ...
Looks the same to me
Think you may have been drinking the coolaid for too long.
Microsoft has a heart?
MS doesn't listen to what fans want.. who told you that?
Bubble for you sir. Common sence can not be taught. Xbox fanboys are so use to being ripped off, they don't know any better. They locked their lips on the 360 tit and never looked anywhere else. When the new consoles are finally released, hard lessons will be learned, so I say let em waste their money, we don't need em on PSN anyway.
@ j-blaze
that statement indicates you haven't played Killzone, nothing about how Killzone plays is typical or generic FPS.. thats like saying a Toyota Prius runs like a Porche.. sure they are both cars but don't, by any means, run alike
first you say
"Its like the PS3 with Blu-ray, no one cared about having Blu-ray, but Sony did it anyway."
now you say
"One of the selling points to the PS3 was because it was a blu-ray player."
Which is it? Its your money bro, I hope if you invest $500 on an XB1 it turns out to be what you hope it will be. At least with a PS4 I know what I'm paying for. Still too many uncertainties with XB1...
but if your blue ray stopped working Im sure you could still use the console, download digital movies, games etc.. if the Kinect goes out, thats it, you wouldn't be able to still use the other functions on the XB1. its a lot easier to damage a peripheral. and yes I believe if the camera was built in it would serve consumers better. keep in mind MS loves to milk money on peripherals. having to buy a charger pack for 360 controlers instead of using batteries, a seperate attachment ...
you mean this o'le thing? LOL
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I had one too
Blu Ray was built in, the Kinect is not, its a seperate attatchment that is required to be connected and if the kinect attatchment breaks are malfunctions you can't use your XB1.. there is a difference. Its a big risk to design a console that will not operate at all due to an attachment vs something built in to the console
MS officially flips consumers the middle finger with both hands now
you could freeze yourself, it worked for Eric Cartman
