Its a sad situation but at the same time you can't control what people say and you can't prevent everyone in the world from being offended by something.. and I also do not believe this is a MS problem. MS can't baby sit everyone to make sure people act and play nice.

Real Mainstream sports require physical contact. If someone gets pissed at the other team, they physically take it out on the other team or let their abilities do the talking. I'm over generalizing. What we have in these vids are dumb asses that believe they are something special because they play COD, acting like 4 year olds that have on a shitty diaper. Paying an ISP for Internet is enough. If i buy a new PC I dont have to pay anything to use that PC online. That everyone has got to do it anyway crap allows companys power over the individual person. Negative. Personally the only games coming out that I want to play online are free to play and dont require PS plus. DCUO, Planetside 2 etc..

Why do so many PS3 users have a PS plus membership when online is free for PS3 unlike the 360 requiring it? Because PS plus is that damn good of a Value, I have over 20 games downloaded to my HD and 3/4 of those are PS Plus free games.

I can use a PS4 online without paying for PS plus. I can use the web brower, watch netflix, buy Games/movies from the PS store, Play free to play Games/MMO's. Save and share game footage with friends, chat with friends. Share downloaded games etc WITHOUT paying a Subscription fee. Not all PS gamers play competative MP and that is the ONLY thing as far as Online gaming that PS plus is required for..

I'm sure that cloud storage applies to Netflix memberships too right?... The whole cloud stuff that MS is throwing around, if you really look at it, is a form of control. They make everything associated with Cloud sound inovative and cutting edge blah blah... its how MS intends to Control and dictate what their subscribers do/use..

I know, I agree with you. thats one of the reasons why I won't buy an XB1. A large number of the casual consumers that purchase and XB1 on the other hand probably aren't aware of the fact you just pointed out.

Yeah, thats mainly what the manditory data plan is for, but if a customer goes over their usage, thats when the hell breaks loose lol.

the casual consumer will still pay for the data plan and not really know what they are paying for or why they need it, even if its all explained and broken down for them, They just pay for it anyways. thats why a lot of customers see their phone bill and freak out when they go over their usage and have no idea why the bill was so high...
