Don't you love it when people pretend like Kojima has done nothing wrong? They'd defend that man to the death.
As you said, he had MORE than enough time.
5 years and he still managed to make the most repetitive, chore-like Metal Gear Solid game I've ever played.
I don't even get the logic behind these statements.
"Consoles are selling faster than ever. So clearly console gaming is dying."
Yup. Sure Patcher. Here are your pills.
Assuming that they choose to stay, can anyone honestly see them publishing any good games?
We may get the few games they've already started development on and afterwards they will more than likely milk the IPs they have left.
Metal Gear Mobile....*Shudder*
Someone didn't read the article...
..Or the sentence right under the headline.
Welp. Not that I was gonna buy it anyways, but this just makes the pill that much easier to swallow.
GG Ubisoft.
I can almost see your veins popping out of your neck as you desperately defend your favorite corporations toy box.
Geez. Let's settle down a bit. :)
All this name calling makes it too obvious.
Your feelings are hurt. It's ok. I'm here for you.
Are you trying to invalidate my point?
Cause that didn't work.
Oh. I'm on a Halo article so that means I'm dying to play it. Completely forgot.
This logic is solid and I like it.
No. Purposely chose not to mention it because the dynamic resolution caught my eye.
I game on PC, so 60 FPS is not a selling point for me. Sorry.
:)
"Dynamic resolution from 1152x810 to 1920x1080p"
Well...next gen indeed.
So they waited until the game is less than 2 months away from release to announce this?
....Alright.
Apparently just a few hours ago.
Also seems they're charging $50 instead of $60. Which I personally think is still too much.
Should be no more than $40, in my opinion.
"Just look at recent titles like Until Dawn or THE WITCHER 3, which both provided the next-gen look and feel we were all promised way back when Sony and MS were trying to sell us on the PS4 and Xbox One."
Lol. No. Everyone with a decent set of eyeballs knows The Witcher 3 was downgraded.
Yep. That's EXACTLY what I was implying.
Good job putting words in my mouth. :)
Ha. As always, any review that doesn't please the fanboys is a "Troll review".
Just like all those "Troll reviews" for The Order.
This game may not be a 4/10 to most. Sure as hell ain't a 10/10 either.
Awww.
The poor fanboys on the other article were so excited :(
The review scores are what get to me the most. I understand that a 10/10 score does not imply that the game is "perfect", but it basically means that the most important parts of the game are damn near flawless.
The gameplay is good. I'll give it that. The story? The characters? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT. Not even close.
Every time I hear someone talking about this game like it's absolute perfection I have to keep telling myself "People h...
I was a console gamer until earlier this year when I finally built my PC. The initial buy in is definitely not cheap if you want a decent PC. Mostly because if you're smart enough you'll know that you really don't want to mess with cheap PC parts. Just not worth it.
That being said, I am able to buy recent games for a fraction of the price. For example, Mad Max is going for around $15. A game that was just released less than 2 weeks ago. That's not a rarity. ...
Some of my best gaming memories involve Halo. Getting out a huge blockhead TV and setting it out on a table in our tiny backyard. Just me and the bros playing halo 2 like it just came out. I wish they'd at least give the players an option. Like let's say, split screen at 30 fps. I'm sure it'd be possible and having the option couldn't hurt.
