For me dead space 1-2 were great deviations from the resident evil formula. I loved the mystery of the marker and the truly grotesque creatures that were terrifying additions to the ishimura halls.
Part 3 unfortunately ruined the whole storyline for me. So would love that part to just be a bad dream Isaac had and instead let it continue from part 2. Or even a whole reboot. But definitely dont get why they let the series with so much lore and potential stagnate.

I think they cancel each other out for the most part. I prefer DS2 speedier protagonist over DS1 slower than molasses charActer. But still think DS1 is the better game only because of the intricate level design and surprises. It just really captured that old school kings field vibe.

This is nothing new with souls games I recall DS1 being really bad with this and bloodborne had its moments. Frame rate drops have been around for many games for as long as I can remember. Most of the time yes it's annoying but for the most part it rarely hinders whatever your trying to do in fact sometimes the slowdown can help you in tricky situations. Wow these characters have not translated well into 3D. Absolutely hideous looking characters bordering on 1995 3D animation. Along with severely lacking animation frames wow. Hurts my eyes looking at this. Personally I'd send these developers back to the lab and redo this horrid looking game. Seems to me king of fighters would benefit from blazeblue, or guilty gears type animation graphics since clearly 3D just ain't their cup of tea.

I get what the reviewer is saying I too wish the girls could be seen at the table and new animations when relaxing, and jet ski would've been nice. But! That does not detract in the least. The game retains its charm regardless. The music is as relaxing and fun as ever. The atmosphere of being on vacation is captured nicely. The screenshots and videos do this game no justice.
