Every game this guy mentioned has a perfectly good reason for the colors chosen that fit that world and its story. Plenty of color in all these games. Truly bizarre rant about something so trivial and mostly no sense at all.

The environments look terrible. Never been a fan of cell shaded graphics I find them extremely annoying due to that flickering inconsistent shadow effect on the characters, that ruin that true cartoon look that is much more solid in colors and outlines. Makes me wish for a solid tenchu game though.

Because I read somewhere they were over powered. So being as how these devs tend to nerf overpowered weapons and such when users complain I thought the mimic was a target. But apparently not which is a good thing because I rely on mimics to do my dirty work.
Not a good deal if you like both systems. But! If the deal stands toward a ps4.5 I'll gladly trade my current ps4 for it.

Iam pretty sure when most people say dark souls is hard they mean challenging it's all the same thing technically. A game doesn't have to cheat you to be deemed hard, it can play by all the rules and still be hArd for those who don't have the skill to face down the challenges so really the article brings up a pointless moot point. These games are hard no casual joe will pick this up and get its intricacies. You'll always get that wtf is this look and f@k this game.

Yeah that does kind of ruin it for fans of the series especially when it becomes overly mainstream. But it's business you know? So many companies come and go I guess when you hit upon something good you have to milk it while you can.
In terms of difficulty I find that demon souls, and dark souls 1 took the cake. In terms of sheer awesomeness and overall fun addicting gameplay bloodborne and dark souls 3 are the icing on that cake.
Dark souls 2.......never heard of it:)
