"Homefront (PC, 360, PS3): North Korea takes over the western US, and you have to fight them off. Ha, good luck with that you fat lazy American! We can’t even beat them at Starcraft, how can we possibly beat them in real war?"
not trying to nitpick but is it that hard to differentiate North from South Korea
Seriously only one city in north korea has any kind of internet availability
i don't even try with doorbusters
it would be nice to get a cheap tv but it's so damn hard seeing as so many of the good sales are for items that only have like 5 in stock so it's either smash through and grab fast or it's damn near impossible
i played as male in my first playthrough of the first game and then female ever since
I really hate the voice acting for the male. He doesn't have much emotion compared to the female one.
the problem is that to make a truly creative and unique product is near impossible
everything has to be filled with product placement and has to appeal to as large of an audience as possible
Movies need to be backed by one of the large conglomerates and many movies have to be able to sell merchandise to even be considered.
I can't imagine a movie like Taxi Driver or A Clockwork Orange could be made in the present industry. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Ne...
Steam - 30 million active accounts
Constant sales that revitalize old games
Risen for example in its entire time being sold on Steam was outsold in the short time it was on sale.
Steam, Impluse, GOG, D2D and Gamersgate are all thriving digital distribution platforms and seem to convince me that if all of them can survive and compete, then there's probably a strong enough market.

Impulse is doing a Thanksgiving sale as well
not as good as Steams but it's something
The wonderful job that Valve has done is that with Steam it has made it essential for the other DD services to have good sales to compete
Bought Alpha Protocol and Deus Ex
Real exited for what's coming up these next few days
This is a real nice taste before the holiday sales
Definite buy for me
I always wondered why Impulse sales never get much attention even compared to D2D. Their current Thanksgiving sale is pretty good and they often have good weekend sales
Black Ops and teamwork is near non-existent
It's a Rambo styled shooter
they've had some good sales all week
still they have a lot to do to improve the service to compete with Steam or even Impulse but progress is progress
your knowledge of GFWL has failed you
if i remember right Crysis was made in one year after they made their engine
wrong
just look at the monitors
if all you saw was the same as just one 22" than it would look terribly stretched
i don't see people who have gotten their HDTVs in the past couple years would want to upgrade again
It'll be years before I go 3D outside of maybe the 3DS
all these problems were known and constantly reported during the beta yet they still act like this was a surprise
i really don't see either getting more Steam features outside of steamworks
Sony and Microsoft would want to have control of their own DD on their consoles.
I hope they do boycott steamworks games
It would just further push people towards DD
It's their fault for having their shitty service and small selection
Getting mad at a company for being better than them is laughable
Their failures to react to the evolution of the pc market is their fault.
