“ Additionally, we’re also sharing new details on Power Saver for games – a new mode that enables supported PS5 games to run with lower power consumption and reduce environmental impact – which will be available at a later date.” = PlayStation handheld mode.
80fps is probably the average frame rate. Old TVs had to lock at 30fps or 60fps. With VRR the frame rate can vary, can’t go lower than 48fps on ps5 though.
You can use emotes to, a random helped me line it up one time with emotes because the dish was too far from the console to hear the beep sound.
Sentries are the worst offenders imo.
It is massive compared to the switch 1. 6-10X the power, but compared to current standards it’s the bare minimum.
It does matter. Every hit is usually followed by a flop. Switch 2 is probably the most boring console launch I’ve ever experienced. This should have released in 2023 with ToTK. It’s a Switch Pro.
The launch lineup is weak. Needs a new Mario or Zelda.
Graphics are irrelevant if it’s not running at 60fps
They postponed the launch by a year. They had a lot of stock at launch. Let’s see how it does first year. Nintendo estimated 15 million of demand first year. Compared to ps5/Sxs launch it was much easier to get a switch 2 if you really wanted one.
The Japanese yen is really weak atm, it’s not a markup.
It’s not clickbait, he just has higher standards. It looks good compared to Switch 1 cuz that screen was garbage.
I thought part 2 was 2 seasons, seasons 2 and 3. Season 4 wouldn’t have any source material unless ND made part 3 by then.
They could’ve done better. Skip
Digital Foundry. Said it was all cutscenes.
Why should someone that’ll never use it have to pay for it? I think I’ve put a disk in it once.
The Switch had botw at launch. Switch 2 is a missing a killer app atm. It’s all about the games. Maybe next year.
No one’s paying 1500$ to play Mario Kart. They’re sup to be producing 20 mil first year. Should be enough to satisfy demand.
A report in January said they were going to produce 20 million in first year.
I think they never dropped the price on the Wii U because they realized it was a lost cause.
30fps feel broken at this point.
