XBL has valid reasons to justify the surcharge, but that list is dwindling. The man lists Netflix as a reason to use it...and things you do over a web browser for free while making an argument for the purchase of the service.

I think the main hype for the game was that rockstar could use the PS3 + bluray to make a huge sandbox game that would raise the bar like LBP/MGS4/Killzone2/Uncharted2. No one really knew anything about it outside of that. Considering a game like Alan Wake on the 360 has to remove the sandbox features in order to run the game, I seriously have about 1 bar of hope that this will be something unique and amazing. GTA4 was neat and all, but wasn't exactly...

No one TRASHES 360 games because they are multiplatform. Christ, Mass effect is one of the better games of this gen, same with L4D.

The problem is people try to say the 360 has more "EXCLUSIVE" games, which it doesn't. Then you go into this asinine description of how you have to change the rules of exclusivity to prove a point. and the point always ends up the game being played on 2 devices.

2 devices = not exclusive for PS3/Wii/PS2/everything else..

If you guys stop latching onto 3rd party offerings as exclusives reasons to pay 50 bucks a year... you wouldn't have to do damage control when they decide to offer services with 9 million ps3's in the usa.

... i'm glad none of those have "SPECIAL DEFINITIONS" for what exclusive means. Quite simply, if its an exclusive PS3/Wii/Ps2 game, you know you're only playing it on a PS3, and its the only place to play it.

Unlike 360 exclusives, which you can also play on a PC. Now, define that however you want, but many people who don't own 360s, don't have to buy one to play the bigger "exclusive" games. And you don't have to upgrade a PC to some crysis rig for a game tha...

I mean, if thats all you have. You might as well not even respond here. I think its safe to say that most gamers will enjoy a variety of games which are better than ODST on the PS3. As a gamer, I care about that way more than the sales of a real time strategy halo.

Not one single person said that Forza3 was a flop of a GAME(outside of the naisms and the bottom level open zoners). In the same way that NFS/Burnouts are good games. The whole excitement behind 360 games scoring well is so shallow. When is the last time a 360 game has been robbed by reviews? Oh right, Never. When has a 360 game had questionably severely low reviews from the general consensus of a game? Right. Never. ...

That demo was not on par with anything blowing anyone away. They need to stick to showing off the PC version with extra fx or something.

The game looks good,but we are well past the days of thinking normal maps with gloss is amazing. The 360 hasn't managed to blow away anyone with visuals in 5 years, doubt next year will be any different.
