However since i havent upgraded my pc in a while i think ill pass on it since the demo for world in conflict was severerly plagued in my pc. The only game that seems worthy of shelling cash for the upgrade remains starcraft 2.
FF12 and FF10 were about 40+ hours if you did sidequests. Besides multidisk rises the chances of you losing a game because one of the disk scratches or you lose one of them which is never a good thing.

Seems like a good game if i ever buy a 360 ill add it next to mass effect(unless it comes to pc) as games id like to try out. I hope this gives mystwalker and sakaguchi the experience they needed on next gen platforms and hit us with something epic next time around. guess ill still have to wait for FF13 (any) or white knight story for a full next gen Jrpg experience since neither this or folklore seem to have gotten it right.
P2P connections would work since the number of players in this type of game are limited to a max of 12 which wouldnt necesarily need dedicated servers (would be preffered as the amount of info sent in rts is normaly a lot higher than fps reason why rts on the 360 has been limited to 4 players max)

So far the data this years show the ps3 gaining to much ground in europe for them to be feeling confortable since that is the market that mainly defines who sells more worldwide which since the end of last year it has been on sonys side.
I prefer the sixaxisweight (stationary) compared to the 360 since the 360 is a stationary controller it makes no sense for it to be so weighty since you are not shuffling things around like the sixaxis to which (in motion motion) id prefer a little more weigh.
Dpads i prefer the sixaxis since it feels more responsive to me
I prefer the button layout of the sixaxis but thats mainly because i became acostumed to it during the ps2 era so newutraly its a tie.
Was all about lbp and home lets see if this year we have another batch of good surprises. Lets see if the trend changes stays and microsoft beats sonys keynote like in TGS or if that was the only one sony lost.
There is a lot of expectation to microsofts offerings since they seem to be the underdog on software this year lets hope we all get great games to play this year.

As far as artistic direction and plots in general it goes to east.
As far as sandbox (freedom) and features goes it belongs to the west.
Platformers are disputed but the ultimate icon on the franchise belongs to japan which gives it the edge. Mario is just the mascot of videogames in general and the longest selling franchise in the world of video games.
Rpgs are as well disputed yet this time its more of a preference. If we go by cuantity jrpgs win...
Between multiplatform and exclusves this could be the best year for any console in history in regards of high profile games lets jst hope all of them live to their expectations.
and although i liked the game mechanics it left mee with a bla feeling when i ended it. As for features i was satisfied the story to me was kind of meh lets hope thye improve it.
No need to get personal. I prefer mgs4 because the postapocalyptic world and grey areas never did anything to entice me for the game, but some people like it and/or cant follow the mgs4 plot without becoming confused but to each his own.
But the math doesnt add up unless i got the wrong info but it acounts for 45% of next gen consoles only and USA only. Its actually much lower if we add portables and the ps2 (that keeps selling and as such it is still a part of the videogame industry)
I hope we see some impresive numbers once the big games start to hit the one i am most intrigued about is mgs4 as its the only game i have heard a lot of people are waiting for to get the ps3.
Yet they are perfectly okay with changing disks every five minutes, having texture loading issues for their games (mass effect), having to wait for 20 sec loading everytime they enter an area (lost odysey). sorry to burst yuou bubble but if it prevents all of the above i have no problem waiting less than half an hour to get a smoother and RROD (which takes three weeks mmm... and i hear no complaints) free experience along with faster lag free online when playing more than 4 people.
