The story sounds a bit blah but the gameplay looks like unreal tourny gone huge dont know if thats good thing or a bad thing since unreal was a bit to hectic for me adding more people into them mix is questionable.
It will do good but being cheaper and having some of the best gens exclusive (mass effect, bioshock at the time) last year didnt help it outsell the ps3. Gears and the pricecut will keep america from falling to the ps3 for a while but it will not be a curbstomp since neither japan nor europe are so easily taken by that awesome game and its already cheaper at a really low pricepoint at least in europe.

Last time i checked versus was still exclusive, and MGS4 pushed the sales the ps3 in the only contested market by 2 to 1 against the xbox.
Not only that but the console you say is winning is irrelevant in the largest Market for videogames namely ASIA and has only lost ground since the launch of its compétitors to the point that its no longer leading but rather a fastly falling second place which if sales trend are any indication they would have fallen to third by 2009.
