Hey! video games are not a waste of money :P They are fun, can be educational and its healthy to indulge in a hobby, no matter how different it is.
Although I can see your point, the generation gap is hard to bridge so they don't really understand. I know my mother didn't. Maybe I should have stabbed her.
I don't know man, they have been on somewhat of a losing streak. FF10-2, 11, 12, 13, 13-2 are all pretty bad Final Fantasy titles in my opinion. The 6 year production time of Final Fantasy versus 13 demonstrates the lack of confidence, decent management, and insecurity on their part.
I suppose at this point what else can they do besides a remake of an awesome classic. They have already started down that path too in the form of the FF10 remaster (Not that I'm complaining).

Thanks dude, was curious about this. I don't have a rig powerful enough to play modern games so i just stick to ps3. Uncharted 3 is gorgeous even though i didn't enjoy the game that much, so its pretty impressive that there are games that look better.
Does anyone know if Arkham City (PC) looks better than Uncharted 3. I don't care about differences such as open world etc. I would just like the technical details of the visuals.

Has anyone noticed from Uncharted 2 onwards the amount of times Nathan Drake falls down or has a roof, floor collapse under him. I mean does Naughty Dog have their very own department full of people coming up with ways for Drake to lose balance or land on his ass. They really went all out in Uncharted 3, the department must have had a budget increase. Or maybe they have a generator that randomly allocates a time for Drake to fall over. Even Sully doesn't fall down as much and he is 20 yea...

Why are people saying that you can't have freedom AND story. It's certainly less strict but it doesn't degrade the story. Arkham city has freedom, and the game is amazing. Iv'e never played the mass effect series but I hear that it's also very good. Also story can be incorporated into the freedom and provide a richer experience than being force fed a plot.
It's just an excuse to justify the incompetence of some developers.
