I would just like to point out that this guy is almost always wrong with his predictions. Remember when he said that the Xbox One and PS4 would have subscription based pricing models? And that Xbox One would be cheaper than Ps4... need I say more. PS4 FTW :)

I'm an avid gamer and it means a big deal to me too. Although I must say despite owning a 360 I have always preferred Sony to M$. I'm getting PS4.
Their decision to backtrack on the mandatory online check-in and DRM is a win for gamers. They have earned some of my respect back now and this move is good for the gaming community as a whole. Although, this is not going to change my decision on which system I will get. I will still be getting the PS4 as my console of choice.

If you buy an Xbox One then are supporting DRM. Do not buy into the restrictions. Buy a PS4!

M$ are making a big mistake with all this DRM and online check-in crap. Just look at the Amazon top 10 list for gaming and the number of pre-orders everywhere for PS4 outnumbering xbone preorders.

1. more powerful console
2. cheaper
3. No restrictions
4. Sony has incredible 1st party devs e.g. ND and SSM
5. Sony embraces indie games and devs
