Wait I thought Activision was the one that milked franchises?
Most people will say all CODs after MW1(COD4) suck. Its just nostalgia. COD4 was in many ways pefect. How can you top that?
Don't believe everything you hear on the internet. The game is fine. Perfectly playable on PS3.
Here's my thoughts.
Nintendo
-Wii U in holiday 2012 since they have to focus on selling the 3DS and prove dedicated handhelds aren't dead.
Sony
-PS4 in holiday 2013 because they are launching Vita early 2012. 2 console launches in 1 year is too much.
Microsoft
-New Xbox holiday 2012 or early 2013. They will have the advantage over Sony and Nintendo since they will only have to launch and let people know about 1...
If it means the game costing me $40 then go ahead.
I don't want them to remove campaign and charge the same $60.
They have a right to their opinion. I haven't played this game nor will I play it so I'll never know how good it really is.

What about Battlefield 3? OR any other FPS? they're all hacked. PCs are an unstable platform. Its no place to hold competitions for real world prizes via COD Elite.

What about the bad it brought to modern gaming? HDDs come with mandatory installs, Xbox Live requires a yearly fee(something Sony copied with PSN+, Nintendo will no doubt follow suit with the Wii U) and who can forget DLC? Although it is completely optional it allows develoepers to remove content from the the disc to sell for $10-$15 at a later date. Worse is locked on-disc DLC.
The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem!
Glad Sony is releasing full games on PSN. Hopefully one day they'll release them at the same time as retail and at a lower price.

The Killzone IP isn't very interesting.(IMO)
Considering how easy it is to hack on PC this is the right choice. Hackers would win all competitions easily.
It's not restricting access to non-Founders.
