"That the Wii U struggles to render games (that run perfectly on the Xbox 360 and the PS3) is a worrying trend for Nintendo."
Bull. Do these games run at a constant 60 or 30FPS? I don't think so. Assassin's Creed 3, Black Ops 2..etc, these games don't run "perfect" on any system, so to expect it to run perfect on Wii U is asking way too much.

"However, with the Wii U specs slightly outpacing the current generation of consoles"
It's not really more poweful, if it is, it needs special attention from developers which it isn't going to get. Developers don't want to learn to code for a new consoles, especially since that new console is so weak for it being next-gen.
1. Price is way too high for what you're getting.
2. The console is severely underpowered for a next-gen console. At the moment, it can't even keep up with PS3/360.
3. Launch games are messy ports. So all we're really left with is Mario and Nintendo Land. Which isn't my thing.
4. Speaking of launch games, I can get all those games on my PS3 and they run/look better.
5. Nintendo's online offerings are primitive.
6. It's sold out i...
Never going to happen. The whole point of consoles is that you don't to worry about any sort of settings/requirements. Just pop in and play.
Why would someone buy an upgrade-able console when they can just buy a PC which would give you a much wider range of options.
I always thought Nintendo would go for a weak system but this is weaker than I thought......
Yes, I went from "maybe next year" to "Yeah..no".
It all depends on the games. If Bayonetta 2 is awesome and if the next-gen smash bros gets released..
"We are aware that users are experiencing load times when they launch or switch between applications. We are exploring ways to enhance features for consumers’ overall experience."
Someone needs to tell Nintendo they can't patch in faster RAM lmfao.
9.5/10? Wow lmfao.
Slow OS didn't affect your score? Neither did the gamepad which feels really cheap? What about the messy ports?
Due to the slow-ass RAM. It may have 4x the amount of RAM on the 360. but the RAM speed is what really matters. GPU will be very limited as well. CPU is no beast.
Wii U is a mess.
Most of us do have terrible connectons.
Never gonna happen. Even if you ignore the fact that 3rd party games don't sell on Nintendo consoles, Nintendo just doesn't play nice with 3rd party developers. The tech inside the Wii U isn't very good either. There are some parts of it that are WORSE than an Xbox 360. I just don't think Rockstar will take the time to code for it when it wouldn't even end up selling....
#14 on Amazon Best sellers. People are actually paying $460+ for this lmfao. Talk about stupid. Can you not wait a week?
Which is of course, untrue. I doubt they want Nintendo to succeed. Me neither to be honest. If Wii U is successful, Sony and MS will need to copy their Tablet controller. They HAVE TO. Of course the Wii U would have to be an extreme success for them to do it.
That is unacceptable. WTF was Nintendo thinking?
But hey, probably most of the casuals won't even download it.
The Wii U is obviously rushed. Here are the signs.
-Hard to get one if you didn't pre-order
-Massive firmware update on Day 1
-Specs aren't officially announced(because they suck for a next-gen console and they probably finalized the specs more than a year ago
Feel free to add to this. Nintendo is very short-sighted.
Things happen. You can lose power or something, there should be back-up plans in case someone does turn it off. Not everyone has the time to download a 5gig update. Not everyone wants to send Nintendo their console for repairs.
Nintendo really messed up.
It doesn't have less RAM, it has slower RAM. There is a difference kid. Read all the comments above yours, it pretty much explains why a next-gen consoles which has slower RAM speeds, is a huge negative.
LMFAO! So misinformed.
"Having recently been dissected the sleek machine boasts a quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM (half of which is currently reserved by Nintendo’s OS) and modern architecture pumping out advanced features such as increased eDRAM and Direct X 10.1 the Nintendo is no longer the underdog in the gaming trifecta."
This tells us nothing. These specs are still too vague. I pity the people who buy a device without knowing the specs. I cal...
Do you also run that other WiiU account?
Weird....
